Eh. It was cool; a nice nod to the fans. But that's it. I don't think it was near as spectacular or proof that the movie should have used this style or that Animated should have used this style as some people seem to.

I couldn't agree more, the video was cool, but it isn't proof that the movie should have used this style of animation. I enjoyed the movie for what it was, a movie, and I have no complaints and grievances against it.

The link pasted above is a plaintext link to hasbo.com hosting a flv file. flv files are flash video files that need to be played in VLC or a similar playback application.

FLV files do not contain executable code and cannot contain viruses.

If you do not have a virus scanner, you can download 'AVG Free' (http://free.grisoft.com/).

Wow, great clip!

That being said, it would be wrong to compare this to that questionable Michael Bay ...thing, as it is clearly obvious that the budget and production costs for that G1 clip are but a mere fraction of what Bay wast... er, spent on the movie.

The ONLY way to make a fair comparison between the two is for BOTH to have been made by the same company, with THE SAME BUDGET.

For me, this is just a great promo clip for Classics 2.0, which is turning out to be a great toyline...

I would kill to see the entire movie that way. Please please please somebody make it happen. Either that or a new G1 story that looks real like that. That small scene was quite incredible.

I tryed it a second time and it did it again.Maybe its a local thing but it happened twice.

What happeneds is that it downloads fine and when I try to open the file my PC reboots and shuts down.When I start it up again I get a messege that my pc had to shut down because of a system failuar cause by a virus.

I did do a virus scan and it came back with some kind of trojan virus.I cleaned it out and scaned again and it was gone and when I download the video again the same thing happened so I scanned again and the trojan virus was back again.

Have you shut down your system between the recurring download atempts? Maybe the virus isn't really being cleaned from your system but just triggered by the download attempt.
I'd shut the system down after having it cleaned, reboot it it and have the avg search again.

Also try searching for your avg in conjunction with the virus, some avgs give virus warnings when no virus is present.

That is how I tryed but it still happened.And I tryed a 3rd time and it happened all again so I give up.

Get over it. Just because the movie wasn't what YOU wanted doesn't mean you have to inflict others with your opinion. Bay, Spielberg, and Dreamworks have 1.5 BILLION statements (dollars) that say the movie was entertaining.

You would think that here, 8 months later, people would have quit crying about the fact that a movie they didn't think should succeed was a total and utter success in so many different ways it's sad. It is NOT G1. Armada was not G1. Beast Wars was not G1. There will NEVER be G1 again...the Universe line is the perfect example of this. Now you're thinking, "what the heck?" G1 toys would not work today. Toys that sort of look like G1 toys DO work. It's a completely different animal today than 25 years ago. We look back at G1 as the greatest because it was a treasured part of our youth. but it is in the past and will never be again. We can hope, yes, but it's not gonna happen. Please just move on...
