Profile:
Larks is an exceptional sniper, even though he will be the first to deny it, his accuracy only being matched by his snarkiness and sarcastic comments. Despite this, deep down, he's a good mech, caring for his fellows Autobots and always trying to be helpful in any way he can.
Lark is an specialist in infiltration and sabotage, carrying a cloaking device to help him in his tasks. If the need for a recon mission, or even an assassination of a high profile target ever arises, Larks is a great candidate, being able to work in groups or solo.
However, the endless war have taken a toll on him, and given him memories he wishes he could forget, losing many friends to what, in his own words, is a wasteful war. But he knows that his skills can help end the war sooner rather than later, and so he won't shy from getting his hands a little dirty if it means ending the war, and finally having peace.
Abilities:
Larks has an exceptcional accuracy, being able to snipe targets miles away with his trusty rifle, a Nucleon Charge Rifle that he calls Bianca, before the enemy even realizes what hit them.
If he is ever in need of infiltrating a base, or even avoid capture if a mission goes sour, he can rely on his cloaking device and relatively high speed to help him. His intelligence is above average, his quick thinking helping him device back up plans on the spot if things don't go according to the plan.
Weaknesses:
Larks biggest weaknesses are his melee abilities. If he's pushed into a corner with no means to escape, he has very few abilities to help him in hand to hand combat.
His cloaking device isn't perfect, as he needs to be as still as possible to get the best use out of it, and it needs a minimun range of 25 feet for it to work properly. If anyone gets closer than that, he is in danger of being spotted.
Sample Post:
The city of Bacephon, a crowning jewel of trade and comerce, where fortunes could be made if you worked hard enough. Or at least, that was what Larks had been told about the city before the Decepticons raided and pillaged it. Now it was just a smoking ruin of shattered dreams, a wasteland without hope.
It pained Larks to see such a renowed city in that pitiful state. Such a waste. How many had died when the Decepticons attacked? Hundreds? Thousands? Even a single life lost was a waste. And just as quickly as the 'Cons had attacked, they left, leaving only a handful of soldiers to defend it. Larks had to given them credit though, they were well fortified. With the kind of weaponary they had, even such a small force could inflict heavy casualties to any attacking force.
The 'Cons were commanded by some Decepticon whose name Larks didn't care to learn. It didn't matter. He only needed to know that he was his target, and that he was a fool. In his arrogance at believing that the city could only be taken with a big force, the fool had left a practically unguarded path through an old sewer, which lead directly into the tower in which Larks was now located. He could see pretty much the whole city from his position, and the best part, they couldn't see him. His cloaking device assure him of that.
But more importantly, he could see his target. He already had Bianca in position, pointing directly into his target. As he saw the Decepticon through the scope, he couldn't help but wonder, maybe the 'Con was just doing his duty, maybe he wasn't truly evil, just another soldier doing his job. Maybe they could've been friends in different times. It was just another life wasted by the endless war. A war that Larks couldn't even remember its beggening. He couldn't remember a time that wasn't clouded by death and destruction.
But he couldn't delve into such thoughts. There was a war still going on, and just sitting by and wondering about the maybes wasn't going to end it. So Larks would make sure that if lives were going to be wasted in this war, it wouldn't be the lives of the innocents, or the lives of his fellows Autobots. For the sake of the future, he would waste the lives of every 'Con that dared to appear infront of his scope.
And so, with a calm head, Bianca roared, releasing her round. And so, another life was wasted.
