The irony is that you say what you saaid and you have G1 Huffer as your avatar. He was the king of debbie downers.

I'd still like a comic Jhiaxus, but I do like that the SpringStorm remold concept is continuing.

Wave 1
Bumblebee
Orion Pax
Megatron
Trailcutter
Wave 2
Hoist
Thundercracker
Wave 3
Skids
Waspinator
Goldfire
Dreadwing
Wave 4
Scoop w/ Holepunch and Tracer/Caliburst
Armada Starscream
Centuritron/Mini-Con Assault Team
Skywarp
So there's one more thing to add to my list that this is false information all around. Again, every one of the molds so far in the Thrilling 30/Generations line has been either new, or a repaint or remold of a character in the line already (Trailcutter/Hoist, Goldfire/Bumblebee, Dreadwing/Megatron). Using Jazz as Nightbeat just doesn't jive. Nothing about this listing seems likely.
Normally you'd be right. However, Hasbro has taken up a habit of resetting the wave counter when a new year rolls around in the middle of the line. As such:
2013
Wave 1
Bumblebee
Orion Pax
Megatron
Trailcutter
Wave 2
Hoist
Thundercracker
2014
Wave 1
Skids
Waspinator
Goldfire
Dreadwing
Wave 2
Scoop w/ Holepunch and Tracer/Caliburst
Armada Starscream
Centuritron/Mini-Con Assault Team
Skywarp
Wave 3
Rattrap
Crosscut
Tankor
Wave 4
Jhiaxus
Nightbeat
Windblade
I am surprised Windblade is coming this early...

Meanwhile, Armada toys retooled and redecoed in Cybertron, three-to-five years after the Armada toyline ran its course.
P.S: There were six retools and redecoes for "mainline figures" and over twenty Minicons.2. Jhiaxus' coloring looks nothing like any recent version of the character.
It's an homage to RiD Jhiaxus.3. Windblade isn't due until the finish of the Thrilling 30 line, from all indications and announcements by Hasbro.
Since this is the sixth wave for Thrilling 30, I'd imagine we're at the end of the toyline. And if you look closely at the drawing here, she has Prime Arcee's arms (complete with the same forearm spikes, and even the same hands) and torso. Only the head, wings and legs are different. Not to mention that the head only marginally resembles the images of her we've seen so far.
This helps your argument how? Toys have been drastically retooled in the past.
Also, if they manage to pull that off with Windblade, then I will be quite impressed.4. The RTS Jazz mold is too old to use (my opinion) for a line like Thrilling 30,
What makes Thrilling 30 superior to any other line that has used old molds for new toys?
megatronus wrote:As a point of reference, here's a pic of Universe/RID (not sure which) Jhiaxus:
Given that Hasbro tends to homage toys while Takara tends to homage the fiction, we might get a comic-coloration once Takara reveals their Jhiaxus.
Erm, I wouldn't quite say that completely. For instance, Takara's IDW stealth bomber Megatron is more comic-accurate than Hasbro's (minus their replacing Hasbro's translucent purple plastic with red), and their Trailbreaker has more comic-accurate paint apps on its arms than those on the arms of Hasbro's Trailcutter.Manterax Prime wrote:Actually megatronus, recently it's been the opposite w/ the generations line. Takara's been doing colors based on past toys and Hasbro's been doing colors based on the IDW comics.
