I prefer........the Japanese Opening of TFA.

On the other hand, ending is much better than the opening.

I find the ending more interesting than the opening. That's saying a lot. |:|

Hmm... I still prefer the English Opening/closing. I guess the instrumental fits the show more.

Why do all Japanese cartoon openings seem like the end credit? :???:

Also, what is up with Mcdonalds?

The opening is the same song as the second but a different verse of it? Alright. It's still okay. Not great, but okay.

The ending, however, is GREAT! Really has that classic anime ending theme to it (when the endings weren't just goofy songs or soft heartwarming pieces, that is).

This almost sounds blasphemous, but I think I like the Japanese ending better than the original orchestral theme.

That said, the more serious orchestral theme seems to suit the mood of the series better than J-pop.

Yup. Many anime in recent years have this type of sponsor "announcement" at the start and end of each episode.

Nonsense. Lot of TF cartoons have had really awesome Japanese theme songs (be they OPs, EDs, or both) that some have preferred over the English versions. ;)

I can say that I very much like all of the Unicron Trilogy Japanese OP and ED songs better than the English versions. I'd even almost say the same for Animated and G1.
