Now this interests me. Are there reviews of the KO's on that site. That Grimlock is massive but is he good quality? The dino head halves seem to sit a bit high. Also very interested in the larger 2014 Bumblebee there too but I can't tell if it's got the flip down battlemask of the official Deluxe. Oh and I see a Voyager of the excellend DotM Deluxe Starscream? I would love that if it's good quality like the Deluxe.

TF for kids
You guys crack me up!
It's a strange psychological phenomenon.
As we grow older into our adult years, right beyond middle-age, there's that part in our mind that remain the old 12yo kid. And the kid stuff we LOVED as kids, well, we expect that OUR kid stuff remain OUR. Meaning, we expect companies to ONLY cater to the needs of 20-70yo "kids" rather than kids of TODAY.
One example is this thread, the RID 2015 thread, or any comments geared toward the 1step/3step figures. These are not created and designed for our old dinosaur bones. These are made for TODAY's little timmy so he discover, play, and have fun with Transformers. Thus, giving Hasbro lotsa monay and securing the franchise for future generations.
Non TF example, the recent TMNT reboot. The movie will not earn any Oscars for sure. But is it REALLY that terrible? Take a crowbar and try to look at the 1990 movie. Was it REALLY better? Hell no. But it still blew your kiddy mind at the time. Well, it's the same thing with the recent movie and today's kid. The movie have been made for THEM, not for us.
Have an article that explain the phenomenon better than me:

I agree on the idea that these guys are for kids and aren't made for us mastodons. But if you're catering to kids, it would be a good thing on Hasbro's behalf to use thicker plastics and less obvious hollow parts. Hell, the first time I transformed Brake-neck I got stress marks and that guy is designed for us octogenerians! I can see these TF's dying all too soon in the hands of less carefull people. Thinner platics and less support in the internal structure is just bad practice and that is my issue with these guys.
Honestly, though, I do not own any of the modern simplistic figures. I plan on getting that RID 3 step Optimus for his Takara-factor... How is the plastic on these guys?

To be honest I was never a big fan of the 1990 movie but really, really enjoyed the 2014 one (even bought the figures though I got them cheap. Still looking for a cheap Shredder and some Foot Soldier but got all the good guys and display them on a small playset from the 2012 Nick show toyline). First time I've enjoyed Ninja Turtles since the big craze the cartoon caused in the late 80's/early 90's.

IF he has knees. No knees, no buy.
It was confirmed he has no knees. It also wasnt confirmed that he would be sold anywhere else than south america so the dilemma or purchasing these or not is not a concrete one yet (for most of the world)

I dig that Megatron... A lot.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Yeah, I love the CW Aerialbots, but you can really feel the thinner plastic. It's really my only issue with these newer toys.
I really like the looks of these Cyber Series figures the more I see of them. If they release here at a good price, I'd at least grab Starscream.

Yeah, because those TFs is now the norm and every single new TFs that will come out from now on will be exactly like these!
Or...
How DARE they making another kind of product for a different market, a different public with a different budjet? Hasbro must cater to MY needs alone!
I know that this will be really, really hard for some people to understand, but you are aware that it is possible for a person to not like a Hasbro product without that dislike being an indicator of these idiotic responses that you project onto a person, right? This kind of 'reply' doesn't actually make the person who dislikes something look silly or anything, it just makes the person who employs them look like an idiot.

I quite like these for what they are, which is big ol' Cyberverse figures. Were the expense of Botcon toys not right around the corner, I'd be on RK getting some orders in (if they even have stock still, haven't looked at that section on there in a month).

Re: New Transformers Generations Cyber Series Line
Hmmm...this is yet another tank Megatron that I want to buy multiples of so I can paint them green and expand my Second Generation Cybertronian ranks. But that's partly the simplistic look deluding me into thinking I could actually get a non-U.S. release TF cheap enough for mild army-building.
Op and Screamer somehow achieve that unquantifiable "fun KO" look, but not the "insane KO" feel that I pounce on. That's not a diss of official figures, I'm sure the target demographic will enjoy 'em.

and now for something different... Cyber Battalion Grimlock!
This Grimlock looks like the RiD15 version with the FoC arms and AoE Colors.
Yes, the T-Rex mode fills the chest in Robot mode, and T-rex tail is the gray one.
Thanks to the transformation, Grimlock has knees
and nice arm posability. While the NORMAL shoulder articulation is a bit limited by the joints' design, you can "cheat" with the transformation joint and the T-rex arms position for better arm poses.
But it has a nice posability as normal.
And yes, he can hold 5mm weapons in the hands, but due to the hand and wirst design, some handguns cannot be held. He cannot hold BW Beast Fire Predaking's bowgun or Cyber Battalion Megatron's fusion cannon, for example.

This is the T-Rex mode
Follow this...
and PROFIT!
Thanks to a mistransformation (The right leg has a slot and the tail has a tab, so they're supposed to connect
), the tail can swing a bit side to side, like a doggy's tail.
There's also a small lever in the T-rex head to move his jaws, but it's kinda useless IMO...
Now a bit of size comparsion with RiD15 Steeljaw and Strongarm in robot mode.
For me, that works nicely!
The T-Rex mode, however...
More size comparsions in my facebook album

Pictorial Review of Transformers Cyber Battalion Grimlock
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Fellow Seibertronian KillerOh has posted a pictorial review, on Seibertron.com, of Cyber Battalion Grimlock. The review shows the articulation, which appears to be the best of the bunch, as well as size comparisons. More images can be found in the review and on his facebook album. A few of the images have been posted below. This figure and the rest of the line are available at Robot Kingdom for Pre-order.

I actually REALLY like how smoothly the T Rex head fits into the back, it looks very well integrated. I'm not a huge fan of the Rex mode, it's a bit off, but I would buy Grimlock on his own for the robot mode. He'd look really nice with a custom paint job to help that detail pop.

I agree with you, specially with the dino mode. And here's NECA's Godzilla to show it.
RhA wrote:Grimlock looks kinda nice, actually.
To be frank, for me he's the best of the line, the shoulder/transformation articulation is a true winner here. Next to him is Megatron, the paint apps on him are nice and SHINY!
Should Hasbro have added some extra joints (To be frank, only Bicep/Elbol swivels and Thigh/Knee swivels were enough for me), these would be a nice "cost/benefict toys" for collectors, but for kids they're quite nice.
