Now that the disclaimer is out of the way...

In the aftermath of the Starscreams Spark thread I figured that a more positive discussion could be had on the TF continuity.

Let us share our ideas of the mythos and share our own universe, no fighting please, no one is wrong thats the beauty of an idea it can be changed, so what fits where with you? Do you mix up lines into your own storyline?
Share and celebrate people, we have been blessed with a continuity so messed up it encourages creative thinking!

My "multi-verse" has G1 cartoon (sparks applied as a retcon) up till the end of the movie, then has a modified take on the 3rd and 4th seasons (Changed the Quints from creators into enslavers, removed Primacron, keeping Unicron as an entity not big harvester for energy)

Armada is included, but the games take on it, no humans, Decepticlone army, Megatrons death at the volcano and bumped it way into the future, working on fitting Starscreams sacrifice from the cartoon into it (IMO the only good thing to come out of the 'toon) but its a bit tricky.

An abridged Energon follows, not set on earth at all this time with Galvatron, a separate entity in place of Megatron (who died in the game), working on harnessing Unicrons power.

A reworked Cybertron (again in future, no pesky humans) the black hole is the result of Unicrons reemergence not his death. Megatron is renamed Galvatron (so he is from my take on Energon, same character new body, still separate from Armada Megatron)

Beast Wars (Show, unchanged) and the IDW Beast series follow.

the center of my universe is Beast Wars and it defines most of my core mythos.

What do you have? Multiple parallel universes, G1 only? Unicron Trilogy only?

Something I think Gutsman has been very clever to state and point out to stop certain members turning this thread into a hotpot of flaming and anger.

To be honest Gutsman, I have never really put that much thought and effort into trying to merge all the transformers multi verses into a singular universe, but then again I'm lazy.
I have no issues with the way you have put them, although, I also have few issues with having the humans in the A/E/C series. Where does RID sit in with this? Does it even sit in with your continuum?

Personally I'm happy to keep all the different universes and series of Transformers, it makes explaining why I need/want another toy with the same name as a figure I already own much much easier.

I only add a continuum into my universe if I have figures for it, the exception to the rule is the movie line.

Since I bought Omega Prime and Prowl RID will be inserted, it will be a tricky beast to slot in, I'll most likely have to put it in the vast space between G1 and Armada. Perhaps I'll make it that they are from the future fighting a covert war against the Predacons (which will not be Beast wars Predacons but a faction of renegade Decepticons) during G1, hence the Robots in Disguise angle. My head hurts.

I also have no issues renaming characters, Armada Smokescreen will be Brawn, not G1 Brawn but his armada character, just with a more fitting name.

You could always throw R.I.D in at the end, post Beast Machines...

Have R.I.D Fort Max being the original G1 Fort Max left behind or something.

I don't combine universe at all anymore. Not after my head exspladed from last time and I had to go into the emergecy room to put my skull back togeather. Well first I had to find all the pieces which doesn't seem physically possible when you don't have a head.

Anyway now I kinda see every episode of Transformers as it's own Universe. There really is no way to exsplain certain things like how the G1 Constructicons have 3 different origins, Armada Sideways is his own character up till the last episode where he's suddenly just an epty shell being controlled by Unicron, and other iconsistancys with every series.

Only Beast Wars/Machines is a solid Universe. Everything else is a bunch of mini alternate unverses.

Personally I like the Omega Supreme version of the Constructicon's origin the best where they are reprogramed Autobots. I'm just going to pretend the other origins never happened. lol

I have my G1 story: At the begining Primus god of light anf Unicron the dark god fighting and then being traped in metors just like the marvel story.....then Prinus creates the 13 to combat Unicron.Unicron being trapped like in planet form like Primus desides to corupet one of Primus's children into attacting the others and destroy Primus.The Fallen joins Unicron and the rest of the 13 are baddly injured,all but 3 of them are destroyed and Primus is all but shutt down in the battle.To beat Unicron and the fallen,Vector Prime had to open a portal to trap both of them.It was only partly sucsessfull traping The Fallen but not Unicron,Vector Prime was also traped.Unicron found him self baddly damaged and almost lifeless at the center of the Univers where he incountered Primacron who reformed his body into one that could Transform.
Mean while back on Primus the remaining 2 Transformers had to shut down for repair's....during this time the Quintason happened by and found 2 robots of great value.Learning how they came to be by probing their merory banks ,and wanting to make a profit,they take the remain's of Primus's core and rebuilt it as the master computer Vector Sigma and started creating the slaves we now know as the Transformers and renaming the planet Cypertron.
After some time they reactivate the remaining 2 of the first 13[ Alphatrion & Maccadam] and enslave them but this backfires on them because they stage a revolt.
After they are freed of enslavement Alpha trion and Macsadam try to undo the damege to Primus but are not completely sucsessfull.They were only able to retrvev a small fragment of Primus's life force so they built a crystle chamber to house it and called it the Matrix.

There's a lot more but its pretty long so if you want to know just ask.
Ohh and by the way I fit RID into my Universe by a theroy that place's the Beast Wars/Machines changing the past and creating a different G1 then the one we know.So when Beast wars ended and left past earth they created many alternate Universe's RID and Armada amongest them.

I like that origin sto_vo_kor_2000, and the Beat wars causing multiple universes is a cool idea!

My perfect TF continuity:

War Within (Undoes all flashbacks from G1) --> Stormbringer --> Beast Wars --> G1 Seasons 1 & 2 --> Scramble City --> Binaltech --> Movie --> Kiss Players --> G1 Season 3 + Headmasters --> Something cool that ties up G1 and has Star Sabre in it --> Beast Machines.

I believe that Beast Wars, G1, the Binaltech fiction, Kiss Players and maybe even the Robotmasters fiction could easily exist in the same universe with only a minimal amount of fanwanking out the bits that dont make sense.

My idea for the whole backstory is that in the beginning, before the universe existed, there were two planets, Primus and Unicron that orbited a single star - the entity known as the Source from which they were created. This was before the nature of chaos and order was decided.
Primus and Unicron existed as the god-like entities from the comics on the astral plane, and once they began warring the perfect balance between the three celestial bodies was disrupted. The "Balance", this "harmony" was what helped the source regulate and contain the infinite energies that it was made of and with out it, the Source exploded, creating the event known as "The Big Bang" - the beginning of the universe as we know it.

Blah blah, stuff happens, 13 TFs created etc... big war that lasts throughout history.

At the end of times, Unicron had muched up just about everything. Primus too was destined to be munched up. The Autobots and Decepticons (or whatever they were designated as in this furthest of futures) had lost their homeworld but after trillions of years of evolution both factions have their own Primus-like transforming planets (they either build them or become them or get them some other way - I favour a "Third Impact" style merging of sentient beings into one) And with Unicron having consumed absolutely everything else in the Universe, he becomes something similar to the Source and for a time, with just the source and these two planets, the balance is restored as it was in the beginning.

My perfect Multiverse/story: G1 Marvel Comics/OR fanwanked toons-->Beast Wars toons-->Beast Machines toons-->Universe comics--->RID toons--->Armadaverse toons--->Movie--->Animated.

I WOULD include G1 toons, but it had so many plotholes and crap that it just doesn't fit. I mean, I COULD fanwank, which I have...

basically my ideas for merging continuity is mostly the different G1 continuities.
Primus and Unicron went in their planetoids, like in the comics, the Quintessons came to Primus millions of years later and built the asteroid inbto Cybertron. Transformers were built by the quints subconsiously influanced by Primus to house sparks,their sparks were created by Primus, Primus is what made them self concious and more living things than machines. transformers were able to improve themselves and evolve, finally revolted against the Quints. Unicron meanwhile, Primacon came, built the asteroid Unicron was in into a large robot body (again, subconciously influenced by unicron)

I always liked to think of stories for connecting G1 Characters to New namesakes, such as Armada Wheeljack and Sideswipe.

I think this kinda goes with the theme of this topic.

What origins would you give to characters that never really had any? Like Cosmo, Powerglide, Seaspray, and all the other characters that just randomly appeared in G1 for no apperent reason.

I would have them as new arrival's from Cybertron or from other parts unknowen.
