Just thought I would share a few pics of my collection at work and home. ENJOY and celebrate all that is Transformers!

'til all are one ;)^

Shown a little further on are all the ones that I have boxed up since I simply do not have the room to display them all.

BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

Just added the others that I wanted to show to give a more complete viewing. The three @ home pics surround me on three sides as I watch my TV which is below the G1s that sit on top of a solid entertainment unit.

ENJOY!

Thanks and I do buy doubles of the ones that I want to transform and handle. Again available room is a problem so I only display the ones that I care for the most.

Very nice, but stacking boxes will eventually lead to an end. I have the same problem, and I think it's time to open some up or sell if we want to go on. Cuz' I can't afford another room, can you?

I am alright for now. I am just going to be more selective with which lines I collect. As well as a line ends (ie Alts) I take pics of each item and then box them up and archive them in my bedroom as seem in the pic below. That frees up space for new items to come into the collection for display therefore making it change every so often and keeping it current.

Chuckle... bro you're not married are you? Might want to do some forward planning if you're meaning to!

Anyway, just a couple suggestions:

1. With some of the stuff you have there you might want to think about insurance. You should also - if you haven't already - done up a spreadsheet detailing everything you have, and do a regular stocktake to make sure everything is there.

2. If I had your collection I wouldn't invite just anybody into my home. All that stuff there is tempting for theft. Someone might figure with so many there you wouldn't miss one or two.

3. I would also make sure that some of the MPs you have aren't so open in plain view for all to see! If I were you some of that stuff would go straight into the safe

Inspiring though... very inspiring. And sobering for me: a precursor of what will happen once the quantity of toys I have go up :(

Dude...been there and done that. Never again!

Done that as well. Covered under my homeowner's insurance policy. My agent is also a collector so that helped.

I hear that. I only invite my most trusted friends over.

You might be right. I may put them in the back of the collection to be more safe.

Glad to help you see into your future :P

Mps in a safe? Theyre only worth a few hundred. I'd be more worried about stuff like watches...

MPs should be sitting on a shelf in plain bview for everyone to worship.

Not to mention, if you're that paranoid about your "friends", might wanna re-evaluate those friendships.

Wow man, thats a nice collection. I prefer leaving my G1 transformers in their boxes because lets face it, they're not the most awesome things to look at on their own and sometimes the colours don't mix. with their boxes you get a more uniform colour and some nice box art and it keeps everything tidy. I like straight edges in my displays.

I really like the angled display in the 3rd and 4th pictures, nice work :)

Thanks for the kind words. The display brings a smile to my face every time I see it. Hope it inspires poeple out there with their collections as well.

very nice, but seeing all those white boxes full of transformers no one can look at isn't my idea of collecting.

What is in the boxes are harder to display because of the way Hasbro packaged them. For example the carded figures. Hard to stack those items as I have. I prefer the square boxed packaging like the G1 reissues line. I tried nailing them up on the walls but that started to get out of control and soon many of my walls were simply covered with TFs. Not bad but it got too overwhelming even for me.

Boxing them up for storage is the only option as a result. In the end what works for some won't work for all. Case in point right here I guess.

Thanks man. Most of the disposable income goes there. Look forward to seeing your collection pics soon

Wish I could display more, but room and the packaging of the items themselves makes it quite tough as I have noted.

My friend everytime I move, I make sure there is a side room now just for my TFs. The place I just got has 2 such rooms and 1 hidden. I figure make the 2nd my EVIL room cause I got alot of that stuff too.

Still, like I told DecepticonJon, track is cheap. Do a whole adjustable wall with minimal holes for maybe $30 with pineboard shelves.

Just saying I feel the pain of space, sadly my TF room has a chimeny running through it, so it gets alittle tight, and that stupid thing makes it real hard to get around and set up a camera.

I will overcome it though

and by the way...

Especially the work collection, I have only a few smaller figures at my work, dont trust the after hours people...

That's an awesome collection! Do you find the Canadian boxed figures to be more difficult to find?

But I have a question, how are you fitting 4000 Transformers in those boxes? With 1500 TFs I have a 10 foot by 15 foot with a 10 foot ceiling packed? Do you throw out the boxes?I need to reorganize I guess!
