Shockwave's Tower ~ Medbay

The familiar feeling washed over him as his internal systems were once more cleansed of the virus that corrupted them, and as the process came to an end, Havok's dark purple optics flashed on once more as he nodded quickly at Thrall to thank him, before turning his attention to Bane and his request for some Medical assistance. It had been a while since he'd called upon to do some repairs, it seemed recently he was the one getting repaired, altogther too often for his liking if he was honest.

Moving over to take a closer look at the quite deep incision Blackguard had inflicted on the Black Death's midrift, Havok wasted little time setting to with the repairs "Huh, not bad, I'm almost impressed.." The Dark Grey Corrupticon commented, referring to the damage Bane had recieved "..Still, looks like the 'New Breed' have some way to go yet before they replace the likes of us and Bludgeon, no?"

The Skies of Polyhex

Strafe squalked in surprise as Turmoil fired his disintergrator cannons at him "Holy hell where the slag did you get that!" he called out as he dodged just barely; the shot caused him to lose his bearings for a moment and somewhat singe his underside. "Not good; not good" he muttered to himself as he tried to return fire. Strafe was currently wondering how the hell he was still flying and sincerly hoping he wasn't about to get double teamed; Turmoil was trouble enough.

Strafe didn't have much time to check out what was going on around him; which was probably a good thing. Because if he had he'd probably be panicking by now.

Cyclonus took the newly arrived Ravage's responses to spark. In many ways, they confirmed some of what he already suspected. Polyhex's value to the overall empire was decreasing. From what he had seen, there was little to this city-state that was worth salvaging, save for this tower. This structure contained much valuable Decepticon information and research. For it to fall in to Autobot hands would be disastrous.

"I share their concern," Cyclonus responded evenly. "And from what I have seen, we are faced with two courses of action: either we station new forces here to replace those that have been sent away. Or, we take everything of value here and return it to Kaon. It is my belief that if we continue as we are, it will only be a matter of time before this location falls to a well-organized Autobot strike. The only question will be whether or not there is anything of value for them to possess if they should prove successful in their endeavor."

Aiming carefully with his disperser rifle, Bluestreak fired several shots in Jadewind’s direction. One round grazed the seeker’s wing, causing her to wobble slightly, but it didn’t do enough damage to bring her down. Not even close. I’ll have to do much better than that, Blue thought to himself while he unleashed a new barrage at the two aerial fighters.

However, it wasn’t long before Bluestreak found himself under fire from a newly ticked off Jadewind, who had regained her composure and appeared none too happy with the Autobot gunner. Blue spun around and quickly ran for cover as explosions erupted around him. Jade wasn’t a bad shot, either, for a Decepticon. As Bluestreak took a running leap behind a pile of rubble, that had once been a small structure of some kind, a shot pierced through his left door/wing. “Ah! Slaggit!!” the blue and silver ‘bot shouted as he landed face-first behind the mound of destroyed metal and right next to Sideswipe, who had just taken up a secure position there, as well.

Using both arms, the gunner pushed himself up off the ground and knelt for a moment, assessing the damage to his door. “Well, nothing a minor patch and a good paint job couldn’t fix,” Bluestreak muttered to himself before turning his attention to Sideswipe, who had begun firing shots at Jadewind. “Hey, Siders! Fancy meeting you here.” Blue commented, forcing himself to his feet. He stood by the red warrior, as more gunfire from Jadewind exploded around them. Thankfully, the mound they were behind provided a fair amount of protection. “Sigh. I think I may have upset the little glitch,” Blue said with a grin.

The Skies of Polyhex

As what little hydraulic fluid that remained in Turbulence's leg leaked out, he was bitter that he was forced to withdraw from the lower field by a mere Autobot. Bravo. Some minibot with wings and a sword. Despite appearances a formidable melee warrior. IF they stayed in the skies the seeker had little doubt there would have been less compromise to his frame and another Autobot kill to the seekers. Had Turbulences still been in mech mode, his battered bronze face would have grimmest over his own recklessnesses and pride.

Hearing the words of Thundercracker reminded him that his aerial form still functioned. The more senior Blue seeker could still fight on land, so the cobalt flier would continue in the sky. First he needed to help force the Autobots to cover.

>>Count me in TCer... ThunderCracker!<<

Checking his weapon systems he noted one of his misfunctioning torque laser while a pair of his cyclone missiles were intact. With that he began to dive down from his high altitude near Skywarp to relay his status.

>>Should I follow your lead or let loose my remaining missiles?<<

Skies of Polyhex

The green female seeker watched as Bluestreak evaded her barrage of fire. Jadewind snarled again as Nightraid's voice carried to her.

“Yes I'm fine, but these bots wont be.....”

Suddenly Jadewind screamed as Sunstreaker's shots pierced her hull.

“You scraplet, you dirty autobot son of a glitch!”

She spun to avoid the shot meant for her engine, her internal systems burning from the damage sustained moments before. Seething with fury the green femme seeker dove intending to get closer ot Sunstreaker.

“Kiss your precious yellow chassis good bye Golden boy.”

As she closed the distance between them, Sideswipe opened fire upon her as well. She screamed again as another round pierced her alt mode.

Skywarp's voice entered her communicator, he had heard her screams.
>>Jadewind, pull out you can not take on all those bots alone, stay in formation with Nightraid damnit!<<

Warp mumbled to himself “Femmes......grrrr”

It was too late jade had already set upon Sunstreaker, and was nearly on the ground just as {b]Bravo[/] blocked her path...................................

Skywarp couldn't do anything to assist Jadewind, he could only hope Nightraid could save her delicate femme aft. His thoughts were quickly returned to Thundercracker[/] as [b]turbulance radioed him.

>>Don't use them yet. I'll open fire and I want you to give them a pass so close that you can knock their heads off. Hopefully we can give Thundercracker enough time.<<

Both Corrupticons began to repair the interior damage in Bane's chest in a seamless union. "A shame he wasn't constructed at the dawn of the Golden Age. With some training he would've been a decent gladiator" this was the closest to being impressed the Black Death could be. He wasn't much concerned about others and their fate, unless it was entangled with his own in some way.

Badlands - Getaway's Squad/Underground - (Invite Only)

Getaway had issues with idleness. To be specific he had issues with idleness when it concerned himself. As far as he was concerned, if good Bots wanted to sit on their skid plates all day, they were welcome to it, but was it a life for him? Not fragging likely!! He could swear he was starting to rust just by thinking about it.

Which, in part, is how he found himself here, driving down the middle of no-where, exploring a tunnel complex that should have been collapsed a few hundred years ago. The open road, a full tank of energon and even a squad of loyal Fembots at his beck and call. This little tour of duty in the Badlands was proving to be more interesting than advertised.

There was just one thing missing, and judging by his own rough estimates, rough being the word of choice, it wouldn't be missing for long. With any luck it wouldn't end up being too much of a good thing, sinse that was a fast way for any good Bot to get slagged. Even Bots with hides as thick as his.

His headlights illumnated the way ahead, throwing the dark corridor into harsh veiw, bringing the tunnel that had been shrouded in darkness for longer than many Bots had been alive into stark focus. The vast chambers the little Autobot Convoy travelled through had survived years of constant blitzing, weathering the storm with obviously incredible resilience. Still, they had done so only just.

The bulkheads on either side of them were shattered in several places, foundations and rubble coating the road ahead with dangerous obsticles and pot holes. Good thing Bots knew how to drive, better than any fraggin Con at any rate, otherwise they'd be heading back to base with a burst tire...instead of a valued discovery.

"Any of you Girls back there notice what i'm noticeing?"

Getaway broke the long silence that had fallen over the small convoy. He had issues with that as well, Bots had voice boxes for a reason, thinkin' deep thoughts were all well and good, but what was the use if no-one ever head them? Besides, when three fine young Fembots had nothin' to say to him, it was starting to make him feel all unpopular.

"I dare to say we're heading back on up".

Nightraid replied to Jadewind "Very well miss. But...".
It was then that things got worse for Jadewind.
Skywarps wise council came to late and the black and red Seeker had to change course. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were having a field-day. He cursed inwardly and changed course. Following roughly her trajectory, he would attempt to come to her aid, giving up his own flightpath. "Veer up Jadewind! It's an order! Veer up!!!" he snapped. She was heading straight into her opponent and once down... they could easily pin her down. His systems were already working overtime to calculate a reasonable solution. He launched a few missiles to quickly keep the other autobots busy but it would only give him a few seconds extra.

I knew I brought those guys for a reason.

Scattershot, crouched behind some rubble for cover, admired how the twins worked together. It was satisfying to fight beside some Autobots just like himself. Of the Technobots, Afterburner most closly resembeled Scattershot in terms of his approach to combat. Unfortunately, Afterburner didn't care much for his leader. That didn't bother Scattershot much because he prefered to lead by his actions, which he was sure spoke for themselves.

The current situation required a moment to regroup. Scattershot had taken a fair bit of damage from his dogfight with Thundercracker, but he was sure he'd win out in the end. Surely, Thundercracker didn't have the endurance to go the distance with an agressive warrior like himself. From his current vantage point, Scattershot assesed the state of the battle. He spotted Bravo still in the sky. Atta 'bot. It seemed the minibot had suffered extensive damage during the battle. Scattershot almost felt bad about it. Strafe was still involved with Turmoil. Better bring them in.

>>Strafe, Bravo, time to regroup and finish these rust buckets. I'll cover you.<<

Scattershot emerged from his position and transformed to his rocket launcher mode in order to act as an anti-aircraft gun. His ion cannon may be out of order, but he had plenty of artillery shells left. He prepared himself to fire at any Decepticons that might be a threat to the regrouping of the aerial units. Chuckling to himself, Scattershot hoped that some Decepticon would be dumb enough to get into his range. From a stable firing platform like his rocket launcher, he rarely failed to annihilate his target.

Getaway's Squad - Underground

"Affirmitive," Dragunov's voice brought the response to Getaway's suggestion. By her own estimates, the long tunnelway they had crossed in the past few long breems seemed to have began rising in level. However, it was a little difficult to notice, due to the limited lighting and the fact that they were deep down under the planet surface. Sense of direction was almost useless in the shady, rusting darkness.

"Starch-aft glitch can't keep her vocalizer shut, even if she doesn't have anything important to say," Glock commented after revving her engines and took a steer to avoid one large pile of rubble and a collapsed wall. When they entered the cavern she had hopes to run into some action while passing through it, or discover something worth of attention, but as far as they had come till now, there was nothing. Only rust, dust, darkness, and more rust. Glock was getting bored and she had to take it out. There weren't any training sessions, but at least, there was Dragunov.

"It's still better than dumping trash talk all around, just because you can't find anything to occupy yourself with," Dragunov sighed and accelerated, not to fall out of the line with the others.

"Smart aft," Glock sniggered, but payed no more attention to the sniper.

Ingram chuffed at the rear, and didn't particularly care to circle around debris, rather than going right through it and sending it cracking under her treads. The only objects she did minded not to grind down were the pillars that kept the whole tunnelway from collapsing. Ingram had a huge amount of faith placed in her heavy plating, but a fragment of the upper surface layers crashing and pouring down her... even she figured it would be way too much.

"Hey, guys! You see what I see? Izzat a dead end over there?" She asked aloud, surprisingly even louder than the grinding noise her engines made. Her headlights targeted an area at the farthest end of the tunnel which seemed like a dead end. Or at least, a very heavily crusted blast door of some sort, with one or two pillars lying shattered in front of it.

Message from Scourge to Blackguard, Turmoil and Reforge

Scourge speaking. The majority of the Hunt, including myself, is redeploying to the Tagan Hieghts to be closer to the front lines. You three remain my eyes and ears in Polyhex. I will be expecting notification of any major developments, in particular any Autobot activity. The Sweeps are intended to be the Empire's most talented scouts and hunter-killers, and if so much as a minibot gets past you, my wrath will be as the Great Destroyer himself. You are to attend to every order that Cyclonus gives you, to the letter. The pride of the Sweeps must not be tarnished. Scourge out.

Shockwave's Tower - Corridors

"Well." Blackguard closed the panel on his comm unit. "That was an interesting pep talk. I suppose we should be reporting for duty in that case, not messing around in the dungeons."
"But wait, Scourge said '3 of us'. Is there another Sweep deployed here? Do you know of any, Reforge?"

Ruins of Polyhex - Near border

Stupid...

Bravo managed to pick himself up, just about. He wasn't sure he could stay on his feet. He wasn't even sure if his buckled frame would stay together.

Trying to fly in my condition....taking on two, three seekers in a row....idiot...

His vision swam. Through the haze, he saw lots of missile and laser fire. It looked like most of it was Decepticon.

What did I think I was going to achieve? I'm just a minibot...

Then, Scattershot's transmission came through. The Technobot leaders voice rang with confidence, with bravado, with the strength to keep on fighting. He...he beleives in us. In...me...

"Well, the least I can do is beleive in me too!" >>Right on it Bossbot!! Let's toast these cyberturkeys!!!<<

There was no pain. His vision was perfect. He saw Jadewind closing on Sunstreaker, the only target close enough to the ground to risk taking on. She'll regret taking this twosome on. Bravo ran between the 'Streaker and the Seeker, skipping and tumbling, a missile from Nightraid missing by a foot and exploding several mechanometers behind him. He was past the point where the few scrapes of shrapnel made much difference: he wasn't going to be flying anywhere anytime soon.

"Hey Greenback, weren't you ever programmed not to swear?? Lemme wash out that vocaliser of yours...with laser!" The laser pistol burst was aimed high. Gotta get her head down... Then with a hop and as much engine power as he had left, Bravo jumped, swinging his saber up. One good hit, just enough to get her to back off. Come on, we've fought so hard, we need this break!

Badlands - Getaway's Squad/Underground - (Invite Only)

"Now, now Girls, that's enough scrappin' for one day..."

At least while I'm not involved, Getaway thought to himself as he issued forth the peace treaty to keep the Fembots under his command from sniping each other to death. The squad leader didn't have issues with rivalries, Primus only knew he'd knocked a few noses out of place himself over the years himself, but there was a time and place for everything. Considering the sheer size of the Autobot forces, it was impossible for everyone to get along with everyone else in life, disagreements would be made, heated words exchanged and more often than not, even fists would fly.

But that was behind friendly lines.

When you were as close to the enemy boarder as Getaway was starting to believe they were...well...then the Bot next to you was not only your best friend, he/she and/or it was your Spark Sibling. Even if you hated their guts more than the Pitt itself. Infighting in the field was a fast way to get yourself fragged.

Getaway was still too pretty to be getting Fragged just yet.

"...don't be making me come back there and disciplining yer".

As Ingram made her observation, her voice box somehow shouting over the noise of her own roaring engine and tank treads, Getaway could see that she was bang on the money. Well, close enough anyway, close enough to be applying the breaks pretty damn sharply.

With a sudden grinding of gears and skidding of tires, the speeder form of Getaway flipped dramatically into the air as armour plates, pistons and limbs flipped out and folded inwards with practiced and rapid efficiency until his robust robot form landed feet first with a thud. His shotgun was whipped out from its holster and held securely with both hands before his own optics could even blink.

Yep.

Sure looked like a dead end.

The headlights of the girls following behind continued to illuminate the way ahead, the ancient bulkhead sealed shut not only by fallen debris, but also countless years of rust. Well now, if he was a pessimistic Bot he'd have to say this whole trip had been a colossal waste of time.

Fortunately Getaway wasn't a pessimistic Bot.

"Ain't no such thing as a Dead End Girl, one of you should write that down, that's yer lesson for the day".

Stepping forward he made a few quick and direct motions to the Femme's under his command, directing them were he wanted them to go.

"Dragunov, Glock, take cover and provide some for myself, if anything hostile pops up after I open these here doors I want a bullet in it before I have chance to blink. Ingram, come with me, lets make us a hole".

Strafe grumbled at the continuing battle his own innate paranoia making him feel like something bad was going to happen which just kept setting him on edge. Getting the order to re-group Strafe replied quickly >>I'm on my way.<<

Without even a parting word to Turmoil; Strafe he turned in mid-air and blasted towards Scattershot's location. Well it could be worse he thought to himself as he flew closer to his leader. I seriously hope he has a plan or I'm toast Strafe's paranoia caught up to him again. He did not like this whole situation one bit.

>>You want me to land or stay up here?" Strafe radioed Scattershot not too sure on the Technobot leader's plan.

His neutron fire had certainly had the desired effect. Sunstreaker had drawn one of the Seekers down to a level more comfortable for the golden Autobot. Typical stupid 'Con. She could fly and stay out of my reach all mega-cycle, but instead she decides to get nice and close. He doubted the Seeker had anywhere near his own level of close-combat ability. Granted, few Transformers did.

"Get out of the way, Bravo!" he shouted at the sword-wielding Minibot who was shooting at Jadewind in some attempt to drive her off. "That's my kill, half-pint."

Nightraid's missiles impacted nearby, but Sunstreaker was largely unaffected. It simply wasn't possible to fire accurately on the Autobots standing so near to Jadewind's position without also catching the female Seeker in the blast radius, and it seemed that the black and red Seeker had no interest in obliterating his own comrade along with the Autobots.

That's right...come right down here with me... Sunstreaker awaited Jadewind's landing with great anticipation.

Turmoil dodged the last of Strafe's shots before stopping to watch his foe leave. He hadn't expected his foe to suddenly retreat like that.

I guess he really wasn't a fool. Oh well.

Before he could decide whether to continue attacking, Turmoil recieved a message in his comlink. It reminded him that he was sent to Polyhex to await orders, not fight a battle. So he quietly slipped away from the battle and headed for Shockwave's tower.

Getaway's Squad - Underground

The two lighter speeders following Getaway from behind came to a halt at the crusted wall and fallen debris blocking their path, and at the command of the squad leader, they transformed. Parts and sections began sliding into their proper place, while producing that all familiar cracking sound all Transformers made when they shifted from one mode to another. It only took maybe two or three, or even less astroseconds for the Glock and Dragunov to stand at their full height in their primary forms.

Just as it came to actually doing what they were good at, they immediately dropped bickering that Getaway had planned on making them drop a moment before.

Glock's hands gripping two extended magazine handguns while Dragunov drawing her own long barrelled precision rifle, they took positions in the debris, all their firepower aimed forward, ready to pull triggers, or - more on Glock's part - dash forward to knock the enemy back.

Ingram caught up to them only a little bit later, her treads pulling a long trail in the ground where she passed. With a screeching hiss, she stopped just between the other two femmes, and as their squad leader motioned towards her to come closer, a large, wide smile would have passed her facial structures, had she been in robot mode.

Making doors into heavy walls usually meant blowing right through them. It would became obvious to anyone at first glance that Ingram enjoyed that type of thing.

"Orders sir," she said loudly, with a good dose of enthusiasm in her voice, and as slowly and carefully as she could, began to roll forwards, into the position Getaway pointed at.

Badlands - Getaway's Squad/Underground - (Invite Only)

Getaway stood toe to toe with the blocked passageway, the one obstruction to a perfectly good days drive. The spray of light provided by the heavy treaded Ingram coming too a stop not far behind him was more than enough too illuminate the otherwise dark and dank tunnel. The massive bulkhead was well and truly sealed, centuries of rust fusing the two seams together, a few thousand tonnes of collapsed debris refused to make life any easier.

Getaway scratched his chin plate with consideration as he prodded the debris with his shotgun, watching it shift and settle. He looked the entire structure up and down with a critical eye. He couldn’t claim to be even be remotely well enough educated to be any kind of structural engineer, but a few thousand years of experience had given him a pretty good idea how structures behaved after the proper applications of explosives. They usually fell down.

The veteran’s optic turned to the ceiling high above all their heads, a stray shower of dust falling to the floor from the darkness up above them. The real question wasn’t whether or not they could punch a hole through the door, Ingram’s ridiculously huge gun and enthusiasm would see to that, it was whether or not the rest of the world would fall down on top of their heads afterwards.

Ah Frag it!!

Getaway hadn’t come this far in life by thinking every little thing through. A fact that was perhaps scarily accurate. His mind made up, his spot chosen, more or less due to the fact that he was already stood right in front of it, the Squad Commander slammed the butt of his Shotgun against the massive bulkhead, a small dent left in his wake. He turned on his heal to the tank form Ingram behind him and jutted a thumb towards the self made mark.

“Alright now Girl, ain’t nothin’ scientific too it, just blast us a hole and pray”.

Deciding it would be better to not be in the firing line…or anywhere near it…as the Tank Fem let rip with her favourite new toy, the veteran of a hundred battlefields dashed for cover. With a quick dive and roll, his relatively compact yet heavy form came to a somewhat graceful crash beside Dragunov behind cover, quickly sticking his head back up so he would at least have a decent view.

This was either going to work, or they would have to high tail it out of here pretty sharpish. In retrospect, he should probably let Ingram know that too.

“Keep your engine running Girl!!”

He shouted loud enough to be heard even over the large Femmes engine block. That little warning in order, he turned a sideways glance too Dragunov, the Fembot at his side.

“Now tell me this ain’t more entertainin’ than sittin’ in a bunker all day”

Scattershot radioed back to Strafe.

>>Stay in the sky we're going to do a delta pattern attack. We're going to try and take down Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Tubulence. No problem, right?<<

Remaining in his rocket launcher mode, Scattershot picked out his targets.

"There's Skywarp... There's Turbulence... Slaggit-all! Where's Thundercracker?"

Search as he might, he could not spot the blue Seeker anywhere. He couldn't have just vanished, that's Skywarp's talent. Transforming to his robot mode he shouted to all his recon team.

"Anyone spot Thundercracker!? He's around here somewhere! I got a score to settle with that spawn of Unicron!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thundercracker smiled as he moved through the ruins on the ground. It was almost too easy. During the confusion created by his fellow Seekers, he had managed to get on the ground without being spotted. Now as he moved stealthily as possible, he formulated the rest of his plan. He needed to get the Autobots split up. If he could attack them one at a time, his chances of taking them out increased dramatically.

He radioed this strategy to Skywarp and Turbulence.

>>Do whatever you can to split them up. I'll take out as many as I can down here. Shouldn't be too hard.<<

Waiting behind cover, his audio receptors picked up the shouting of Scattershot somewhere up ahead. That id10t. He thinks it's going to be that easy. Must not know alot about Decepticons.

Tower--Command Center

Allowing Ravage to ponder the Air Commandant's assessment of their situation in Polyhex and what their next course of action would be, Cyclonus approached the command console, opening a link with the Seekers that were still in the field. He was not fond of the idea of his aerial resources being used in battle without him directly there to oversee--or directly engage--in said battle himself. It was just another aspect of command that he would have to accustom himself to, but it would not be an easy process.

>>"Thundercracker", this is Cyclonus. What is your current field situation? Is there anything further on that Autobot vessel that was reported earlier?"<<

The latter question was the most important of the two. Megatron himself had requested to know when the ship had left Cybertronian airspace. Cyclonus had no intentions of delaying that report any longer than circumstances forced him to do.

The Ruins of Polyhex ~ Border Region

Blast! The last thing I need right now is to give my position away, but Cyclonus won't like it if I don't answer.

Thundercracker opened communications with the air commander and spoke in a hushed tone, trying to keep communication as brief as possible. Surely, Cyclonus would understand the prudence of this action.

>>Commander, the Autobot shuttle left Cybertron a few breems ago. An Autobot strike team has us fighting out in the Polyhex ruins close to the Iacon border. Right now we're just about to finish them off.<<

Hoping that he'd convinced Cyclonus of the strength of their position, Thundercracker was sure that a successful battle with the Autobots would overshadow the delay in reporting the departure of the Autobot craft. Understandably, the fight with the Autobots had diverted their attention from the Ark. This was perhaps the purpose of the Autobots being here in the first place.

Sitting silently, Thundercracker awaited Cyclonus' reply. It would be interesting to see if their new Air Commander would respond like Starscream who likely would have them finish off the Autobots. That was a task that suited the vetern warrior just fine.

ooc: sorry guys, its been 9 days since my last post.

Shockwaves Tower - Corridors

"Three Sweeps? I hope we aren't being rationed out like seekers!"

Reforge while, sounding clinically sarcastic, was genuinely concerned for his former fellow seekers. Should the sweeps be placed in seeker duties the usefulness of his past designs, and elite allies, would come into question and obsoletism. The sweep surgeon never really wanted to replace the seeker model he tried to improve upon in his research and once was. He then answered Blackguard's query as they continued on, now set to rally with Cyclonus.

"Aside from the legion of sparkless sweeps I monitored throughout the attack on the remaining Guardian and after, I thought I was the only non drone sweep in Polyhex..." his processor trailed off.

I've been in arms reach of our aerospace commander within the last few breems and parked on this tactical drone report! If Cyclonus is half as motivating as Scourge, I may need those sweep drones to use their auto repair protocols I installed... on me. Scanning with his optics, Reforge picked up on his wording possibly coming across as insulting.

"uh... That is of course until I saw your exploits in the 'Arena', Blackguard. I won a few credits due to your prowess. If there is another Sweep here perhaps he may be an infiltration model."

Ruins of Polyhex - Border Region

Turbulence grimmest at not being able to unleash his cyclone missiles but, when as he spot Jadewind so close to the enemy, he thought better of Skywarp's judgment.

"Skywarp seems smarter than his reputation suggests."

From his vantage point one foe particularly stood out against the ruins backdrop. The bright yellow of the Autobot reminded the scarred seeker of the first missile to cause him damage on this mission. He had no intention of letting this warrior claim a seeker. Not this city; not this cycle. "You see what I see Skywarp? Some shiny Autoscrap needs its finish roughed up."

Not wanting to delay any further, and assuming Skywarp would take the opening, the blue and bronze seeker tip down in an effort to flank Sunstreaker while raising the group with his one functional torque turret. He shot more for quantity than accuracy but hoped it would shake the Autobots up for Skywarp or Thundercracker to pick one off.

As his frame came down low Turbulence risked another assault from Sunstreaker, or the other Autobots, but it would ensure the safety of his fellow seeker. He responded as to hide his honorable compassion.

>>"Jadewind pull up or do you want to be blown away by friendly fire!"<<

He'd rather the fem fall back in anger than needlessly get slagged in the joy of battle, not when he wasn't the one slagging anyway.

Shockwave's Tower - Corridors near hangar

"That's not that strange, I had only arrived a short time before, and was sent out on patrol soon after." Blackguard was concentrating, his acute Sweep sensors probing out.
"Things seem to be...quiet around here. I can't find any signs of seekers, or many other Decepticons for that matter. It seems everyone has left. If we want a deployment, we may have to go to Cyclonus himself..."
Then, as they reached the hangar bay itself, Blackguard found an unusual energy signature, reaching across the distant skies into the hangar bay. "There! That glowing light, could it be....Turmoil?"

((OOC: I was only NPC Jadewind, if any of you guys would like to take her over go ahead. But with this post I am dropping her as an injured con.))

Ruins of Polyhex - Border Region

The transmission from Nightraid filled her receivers. Her anger had blinded her and she was tempted to ignore both him and Skywarp, but finally complied as Sideswipe’s barrage finally pierced her armor. The green femme swerved in an upward angel, having difficulty as her chassis now sustained moderate to serious damage. She had just noticed Bravo as she started her climb. She really desired to land and attack the twins, but it had not panned out. Suddenly her engines began to sputter, somehow Sunstreaker had succeeded in piercing engine one causing her to loose altitude. With an ungraceful decent Jadewind crashed into the ground.

Skywarp groaned at Jadewind’s folly, why was she so stubborn. He would have to deal with it after he assisted Thundercracker. Knowing that at least one of the twins would go after the downed femme, Warp used this to his advantage. To help ‘Cracker, he would split up the twins.

>>Nightraid, make sure they don’t rip her apart.<<

Turbulence’s voice came across Skywarp’s receptors.

>>Good, Turbulence, we will separate them so Thundercracker can attack them from his position. In the mean time help cover Jadewind.<<

Ruins of Polyhex - Border Region

Nightraid was pleased to see Jadewind veer up into the sky. He himself, slowed his descend and changed course, after unleashing another barrage of missiles to diminish the autobot fire at him and more importantly the damaged Jadewind.
"Affirmative Skywarp" he stated. "Continuing coverfire for two more runs" he said.
He veered about and unleashed another barrage.
