I was thinking the same thing about their interaction with any existing or future Soundwave. I'll be getting these and I'm sure they will be good figures, but I'll be sticking with my PerfectEffect Rumble and Frenzy paired with ML Soundwave for my classics shelf.

Well, outside of the profile books, Dreamwave nicely skirted that question by always pairing them up so they never had to refer to them separately. I would think that releasing the toys together is being done with similar intent.

Hasbro and Takara Tomy have done the best they can; they've stayed as faithful to the G1 robot modes as they can and in most cases, the vehicle modes.
I'm happy to hear about Frenzy (the blue one) and Rumble (the red and black one)'s piledrivers and G1 heads. Now can anyone find some pictures.......
