given the price on this, and the fact that both alt modes are fugly, I'm going to have to go with the Hasbro version if I get either of them. I still need a Giant for him to fight.

Money no object, I'd have to say I'd prefer to get Genesis over Generations Platinum. It's closer to the G1 incarnation, and so by my standards, a better contender for my Classics collection. But the oversized claw and blaster, the full nappy look and frankly naff alt mode really turn me off.

Looks like I'll be going Supreme-less. :-(

Yeah the red blaster killed it. But I wouldnt be suprised if Crazydevi comes out wit a G1 claw and blaster that arent so huge. Bust out another hundred...

Apart from the red blaster he does look nice, no BBTS listing and that red guarantee that I'm not buying him. That's a good thing with all the must have 3P releases atm

I hate the colors. This thing is supposed to be a replica of WfC Omega Supreme and aside from the colors (which look way too much like a toy/cartoony), it is. If this were a Hasbro release, I'd be anxiously awaiting the inevitably superior and more accurate/realistic/metallic looking Takara release.

Seeing him side by side with Herc as me on the fence all of a sudden...

I can imagine him standing next to mine, would look nice, but I just realised that I'd have no where to display him he is so darn big #-o

The price and lack of etailers selling him are still stopping me from pre-ordering.

Seems practically perfect in size for those who picked up TFC Herc. And fortunately for me, having picked up Giant, Genesis here would be far too big for my collection making this an easy pass.

Looks pretty nifty though I must say.

Nice. But the red cannon (and the price) really throws it off for me. Maybe at $300 plus free shipping Id be a buyer.

How come you don't like the red cannon? I've been seeing this a lot, and I guess I don't understand why people are against it. What would you have preferred?

Looking at Omega in the game, his cannon is a bit rust red. The color here is a bit more vibrant than in the game. That could be the result of camera work (Shockwave purple discussion, anyone?) It could also be a throwback to Omega's original colors, which were grey, vibrant yellow, and vibrant red. Man, I'm glad BBTS isn't carrying this, or I'd likely make an impulse purchase and make my wife really mad. I'm lovin' it!
