Pruning enabled on some sub forums

Ive enabled Pruning on all sub sections within General Talk;
This means all topics never touched in 60 days will automatically be deleted.
All the others sections will remain tho, would be a shame to loose.

That sucks... There are so many topics that I still go back to for reference on certain things. And the others are just a purpose lying in wait...
Is there a reason for this? Like... Are you guys running low on space or something? Because, if not... Then I don't see why this should be done.
for a compromise, though... How about extending it all to say, oh, I dunno... 90 days? It's how it is on most forums I find...

Bear in mind, Shade, it's only the General Talk areas that are being pruned. All the areas related to kitbashing and creative projects are staying as is; as you say, we all like go back and look at old 'bash threads for reference and ideas. But with the chat areas, if no-one's said anything about the topic for couple of months, odds are the conversation's probably run its course, so I don't really see why it'd need to stay...

This is indeed only in the general threads.
The reason for this is the increasing database with topics we never use.
Like, the newbie section.. general or even toy section. It's rubbish after a few months.
