Remember the old Transformers PS2 Game?

I've recently got back to playing it after getting very bored with the new Movie game.

Man I forgot how much fun it was.

It wasn't until now I started experimenting with the minicons, but man I'm trying em all out and its just awesome.

Can anyone suggest any cool things to do on this game? I've completed it and have all the minicons, just wondering what'd be fun.

I went back and started a new game, cheated to start with all the Minicons. Had Slipstream during the Cyclonus battle and managed to actually have an aerial dogfight. It was amazing XD

And, as cruel as it is, I seriously can't get enough of ramming my minicon partner into things with my vehicle mode. The ragdoll physics are just so much fun.

Had a lot of fun with Knockdown (EMP blast) and Discord (scrambler) also. I can't remember which other minicons are worth playing with (that arent just weapons). And could someone else suggest a minicon that is a projectile that would actually send an enemy flying on impact? I'm sure there was one but I've forgotten.

... Think I'll go back to playing it now =)

ctually, once you have all the Mini-Cons and Data-cons, it's pretty much game over. (Unless you're playing on the highest difficulty, where you have to collect all the mini-cons before you can face Unicron)

Not a lot to do after that but experiment with all the Mini-cons, try to pick a favorite combinations (The flying one was always on my roster) then, if you haven't already, play as the two Autobots you haven't played as yet. (I think I went Prime -> Hot Shot -> Red Alert)

My favorite was always the grenade launcher con. Lob tons of them, and the enemy goes flying unless its a big guy or tank. And I remember gliding into the dropships and blowing them up from the inside. Thats pretty much all I did after beating the game

You know, you're right. There really isn't much after you snag em all.

Which is why I'm asking if anyone knows of any fun stuff I can try out.

I've tried riding around inside the dropships to see where they all go... Not so fun.

Thinking of playing with Watchdog's limpet mines (INNUENDO!) for a bit.

A while ago I managed to glide into the top of the elevator shaft on the Ruined Temple... Bouncing off all the walls all the way down XD

At the moment I'm trying to land on Tidal Wave's shoulder...

Invincibility cheat + the missile launcher minicon (the most powerful one that does the single shot).
Just catapault yourself around the maps.
Kept me amused for a while.

Use Vortex....the mass chaos when you unleash an energon twister on a squadron of drones is sooo awsome. plus when they go up, they don't usually come down in one piece. I also liked using the tractor beam on the cliffside after the caves in alaska....grabbing other guys & throwing them over the side is awsome.

Watchdog was always my favorite minicon - made the fight against Starscream so much easier.

The other thing is to equip the Sniper Rifle and the Scope Minicon, and play through the game Ghost-Recon style.

I really wish they'd do a Next Gen game that handled like this but had Sixshot as the player character...

What's the cheat for starting with all of the minicons? I know the one where you can equip any, but having slipstream and the air boost while fighting Starscream would make the best boss fight even sweeter.

I glided over to Tidal Wave and tried to circle his knees. He kicked me into the ocean.

Something to try is gliding, transform, then open the glide wings again to get some extra air. See how far across you can get the maps before you crash. I managed to get quite a distance behind TW (pre transform) before Prime swooped under the ocean.

Grabbing someone in the tractor beam and swinging him into his buddies provides a bit of amusement as well.

The Movie Game was just a cash in on a big title. It could have been SO MUCH better.I cried a little when I found out you couldn't play as BC or Brawl, etc.

I also played the PS2 game after that crap experience again, and it was friggin awsome. I deleted my old game and am starting a new one, since I used the cheat codes through the game, making very/too easy.

Turn off the music and blast The Touch on your stereo while using all the cheat codes. Endless fun.
