This may sound a little harsh and may be the 'con in me speaking, but if they cant afford a bounty they either negotiate or play harder until they DO have enough €.Burn wrote:a set fee might deter them from joining in.

*facepalm*Burn wrote:So basically, unless you're a hardcore player putting in more than 10 hours a day 5 days a week and have plenty of energon, you can't play bounty hunting?
Psychout wrote:Its the client who pays the bounty.

As such, perhaps the $$$ needs to vary not just by level, but by 'risk'. Bounties on Decepticons, since they typically have a numerical advantage in missions, should be set higher, for example.

Lord Gothika wrote:I agree with Burn, I think that the set price as is, is a little high. I think that it should 12,000 per team and 1,000 per head if there is to be a set fee, maybe 18,000 per team and 1,500 per head for licensed hunters.
Burn wrote:Psychout wrote:Its the client who pays the bounty.
I'm well aware of how a bounty system works.
My point IS simple. A client should be able to make the bounty any figure they choose. Be it 10 or 10,000 per bot.
Merc With A Mouth wrote:Yeah here's the thing... While it's well and good for the client to set the bounty to what he wants, I'm sure I'm not the only one that's not going to be doing this out of the evilness of my heart. I'm a War Mongering Profiteer! A 10 Energon bounty is just enough for me to shoot the target once, and that's about it. I think that while the clients should be able to set the price I'd like a minimum (with no maximum) buy in for it.

I've said from the start that its a recommended amount
- Bounty is negotiable by contract, default set at 5,000 per level of Mark per target.
If the client cant afford the bounty, then they save up and do it when they can. Its not meant to be 'cheap'.
(That's the negotiation bit...)
so why the drama and deleted PM's?

Psychout, multiple times, wrote:Negotiable.

There should probably be a 'recommended fee', more to deter this from becomming to exclusive. But since the point is to make it more affordable to the financially burdened players, the recommended fee should start lower IMO. I was thinking:
Lvl 0 = 500E
Lvl 1 = 1,000E
Lvl 2 = 2,000E
Lvl 3 = 3,000E
...
Lvl 11 = 11,000E
Obviously, the fee needs to be low enough to encourage players to post bounties, and high enough to offset the potential costs to any single bounty hunter that takes risks to target a given character. As such, perhaps the $$$ needs to vary not just by level, but by 'risk'. Bounties on Decepticons, since they typically have a numerical advantage in missions, should be set higher, for example.

Transmission wrote:Bounty Guidelines, per individual target
Standard bounties as rates by Power level as set by guild consent.
These are not mandatory, but keep these enforced where possible to ensure all hunters are working to the same standards.
Lvl 0 = €500
Lvl 1 = €1,000
Lvl 2 = €2,000
Lvl 3 = €3,000
Lvl 4 = €4,000
Lvl 5 = €5,000
Anything above level 5 is negotiated on a case-by-case basis between client and hunter.
