Can't wait for Bulkhead and the Vehicon. So are these guys coming out the same time as Arcee and the others or is this Wave 2?

WIN

These look FANTASTIC! I am thoroughly enjoying the TV series and these are amazing representations.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Very cool! Been waiting to see Bulkhead for a while now, and i'm pleasently surprised by his overall design. Seems to be fairly accurate to the show.
Optimus, Cliff, and the vehicon are all great as well. Hopfully they will all be as easy to transform as the animated figures were.
NOw lets see some Leader class figures!
Decepticons... Com in get yo ice cream!.... And then get yo ass whop'in!!

Still not a fan of the animated aesthetic. It's fine when you're watching a cartoon and can forget about it due to the voice acting and action (though still way more stylized than I'd like), but when you turn it into a physical object it just looks silly. I get that they're trying to combine the movie look with the Transformers Animated look, but Animated is my least favorite of all the Transformers looks to date. And movie is not much better due to all the crappy faces and monstrosities that were supposed to be Decepticons.

So, of these, the only one I am thinking about picking up right now is Bulkhead, and that's because he looks slightly less silly than his Animated version, which granted was a good toy, but still too goofy looking for me.
For sale: My entire Transformers and third-party collection. Includes Masterpiece, Generations, Universe, Movie, Prime, Armada/Energon/Cybertron, G1, G2, a few Japanese imports, etc. Many never opened, the rest displayed in enclosed display cases to keep the dust off. A few ads on Craigslist/OfferUp for DC/MD/VA locals, will post on boards or ebay when I have time.

My only problem is Bulkhead's left arm. I'd really like a second hand for him, but I'll survive because this is just friggin' awesome.

A shard of the allspark was used to reignite Megatron's Spark (at least I think that's what happened, it's pretty unclear to be fair), so he was never revived like Cliffjumper was. Cliffjumper's Spark was also extinguished, like movie Megatron's, but from what I understand when he was revived his Spark never came back, or at least not like it should have if he was simply brought back to life. He was basically a mindless shell that was moving because of a power source and killing because of the negative influence of the dark energon.

I'm really impressed with the Prime toy images seen so far. Not a fan of the Starscream and Megatron designs, but this Optimus looks much better than the SDCC exclusive (it's called colouring/painting the figure completely Hasbro!). Those Vehicons are epic! I just watched my first episode of Prime yesterday (free on iTunes but been sitting on it for months) and ended up buying the whole season. Hoping for a non-zombie (spoiler, for me) Cliffjumper…

Ya, well, the underwater scene was done so oddly. Meh. Regardless, I only saw the movie once (and some parts a second time for whatever reason), and I don't know, I guess I wasn't paying attention while watching it, especially that part. The infiltration and what not to get the shard was clear, in particular the second part when they actually go to get Megatron was a little unclear. What like a bunch of cons in murky water go see him. They kill one of themselves and one is left to assume that they use that dead con for parts and subsequently use the shard to revive Megs.

Edit: Just rewatched that part and I guess it's pretty clear when you take a good look at it (and I was trying to be nice earlier). Stupid Scalpel's voice remains unclear though.

You do realise the SDCC Optimus Prime is the Deluxe version and this new pic is of the Voyager version right? On that note, why are they showing us the Voyager, which is 100 times better than the deluxe when they will be wanting to sell the Deluxe as a SDCC exclusive?

Transformers Prime toys will all be purchased, they are awesome. Optimus, Bulkhead and, after Peaugh's review, Starscream will be bought on sight.

You asnswered your own question. They used dark energon to revieve Cliff Jumper and a shard piece from the all spark was used to bring Megatron from ROTF back to life. Every bot that was brought back with dark energon was a zombie.

BUt then explain why in WFC when all the decepticons were infused with dark energon that they didnt turn into zombies or I could make the point that if Megatron wanted more disposable drones he could have taken the corpses of dead decepticons and revived them with dark energon then he would have his own zombie army!!!

You can't be turned into a zombie if you're not dead. Megatron knew enough about the Dark Energon to where he knew he could harness it as a power source. And also, WFC and Prime are different, and inconsistent. Dark Energon in WFC was a substance guarded by Starscream in Trypticon Station for millennia, and it had the properties to infect and corrupt.

In Prime, Dark Energon is also known as the "Blood of Unicron", and Starscream exhibits no knowledge of past experiences of it whatsoever, other than his understanding of the "legends". Dark Energon also had the properties to infect and corrupt, but could also resurrect the dead in a zombified state, something that was never shown in WFC. Megatron and Starscream even shove a Dark Energon shard into their Spark Cavities and it does what it did in WFC, supercharge them with power. Although in Prime, Megatron had symbiosis with, and had the power to control, the zombies because of his powerful mind and will.

Lastly, Dark Energon can restore the dead, but in a negative way that would create the whole zombie situation. On the other hand, the Allspark is the giver of life in the Movieverse, it is the only thing other than the Matrix of Leadership that can fully restore a Transformer's Spark to full life in a positive way, think the breath of life. Whearas Dark Energon's life giving power is artificial, thus why zombies end up being the result.

Well, while I'm here, I think I'll just say that I WANT THAT OPTIMUS! Yes, yet another to add to my collection of Optimus Primes. lol

i will get wheeljack, deluxe arcee, and deluxe ss( but the last two are for kitbashes to make slipstream, and an animated prowl) and thats it. i like the show but there are a few things like asthetics(VERY minor gripe for these) that don't fit my style.
and i am not saying i will absolutly NOT, cuz i might, it is just:
1. i want a leader optimus
2. not a fan of bulkhead
3. vehicon looks kiblish
4. if i get clif. i will repaint him and call him battle dammaged clifj.

Nope. Didn't realise that. But that still doesn't explain the SDCC having a plain grey chest housing.

He's not going to be alone. That's all I'm saying. Of course, you're talking to someone who has a "Stockade Brigade" as the minions of Nemesis Prime/Shadow Commander, sort of like The Sweeps. Currently trying to figure out the best way to re-number all their "S7"s to individual designations "Sxx".

Also, thinking those Vehicons will make some seriously bad-ass Bat-Drones… (from Kingdom Come).
