Our 5 basic rulesWe like to keep it simple. Here are the most basic rules for our forums.
- Harassment, personal attacks, and threats are not allowed
- Inappropriate content is not allowed
- Discussion or promotion of illegal activities is not allowed
- Pseudo-modding is not allowed
- Be excellent to each other!

This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, personal attacks and threats based on someone's identity, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, background, appearance, religion, ability, physical or mental handicaps, etc. Harassment, personal attacks and threats against non-members, such as industry related people like comic book writers, artists, movie producers, actors, directors, toy designers, etc., will also not be tolerated.
- Inappropriate content is not allowed
Do not post images, videos, links, or post messages with inappropriate language or subject matter which would be deemed inappropriate for general audiences. Specifically, content of a sexual or sensitive nature will not be allowed. When in doubt about whether an image or text might be construed as inappropriate, our general guideline is this: if you wouldn’t want a child to see the content, or if you would be embarrassed to view the page in front of colleagues, then it’s probably not family-safe. The exception to this rule is official content related to the Transformers brand which will be moderated on a case by case basis. Mild profanity is allowed as long as it is not excessive.
- Discussion or promotion of illegal activities is not allowed
This includes but is not limited to drug use, theft, solicitation of a minor, illegal downloading of movies and copyright infringement. This also includes the discussion of and distribution of digital files such as video game ROMs, PDFs of commercially available books, torrents of video files, etc.
- Pseudo-modding is not allowed
If there is a problem on the forums, please do not try to take control of the situation. This can range from someone posting in the wrong section to someone being outright abusive or breaking our rules. Simply use the "Report this Post" button which can be found in the top right hand corner of each individual post.
- Be excellent to each other!
Be a decent person. Be respectful. Be kind. Be inquisitive. Be generous. Be understanding. Be fair. Don't be a jerk!
Here is some additional advice we'd like to share:- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts. (2)
- Listen to and follow directives from staff members
- Don't make multiple accounts.
- It is your responsibility to stay current with our rules, which may change periodically.
- Please don't break our rules.
It's also important that you follow directives from staff members such as "staying on topic". If you choose to ignore the directive of a staff member, a warning may be issued.
When rules are brokenIf you break a rule (and depending on the severity of the rule that was broken), you'll initially receive a "tap on the shoulder" from a Moderator. Most of the time it will be a request like
"You over stepped the rules a bit there, please don't do it again". If that "tap on the shoulder" doesn't work, then we will have to get serious which will cause you to receive a warning from our staff.
- After 3 warnings, you will receive 3 day suspension
- After 5 total warnings, you will receive a 7 day suspension
- After 6 total warnings, you will receive a permanent ban. Please don't do this.
In certain situations, our staff will give an earlier permanent ban if it's obvious to us that the User in question has no reason to be on Seibertron.com other than to cause trouble or if the situation is extreme enough to warrant a permanent ban.If you are banned, do not create another account.
Signature GuidelinesWe all like to show off a bit, but most of us don't like to have to scroll through a huge signature. So we've established some guidelines!
- Physical dimensions of the image in your signature can be no greater than 500 x 375 pixels. The dimensions can be smaller, but nothing larger is allowed.
- Filesize of an image in your signature cannot exceed 100k
- Youtube videos are allowed in your signature
- Only one image OR video is allowed in your signature
Problems with your accountYou may encounter a problem with your account. If this happens, please reach out to our staff by using our
contact form so that we can help you with your problem. Please provide us with as much information as you can so that we can quickly resolve the issue.
- If you are having trouble with your account or if you were banned, please do not create another account.
- If you do have a problem with your account, you can contact the forum staff via the contact form.
- There is never a need for more than one account.
- Hotmail email accounts are currently not allowed.
- You can change your username, password, and email address through the User Control Panel
- You can edit your profile under the "Edit Profile" tab within the User Control Panel.
