Are you using Chrome, by any chance? I had the same thing happen to me while posting a news article this morning. It only happened once, but it was a nuisance.

It might be working better now after hitting F5 on all the pages I tend to frequent, but for the last two days it didn't look like the site was updating at all. I think the pages were all just cached and not updating or something.
Yep, I've got chrome. I tried to enter more posts this evening but I noticed that no new posts were even showing in the whole Toy Forum, including the latest ones I'd submitted. On a whim I tried the site on my phone and everything was proper. It was then that I noticed your replies and tried the f5 fix on my desktop. It works, but wow, that a hassle. I'd better get my computer genius girlfriend over here to puzzle this out for me. I'm woefully low tech.
Thanks for the tip!

Change it, don't know, but there is a way around it; if you're using Windows, just right-click on the link and you should get a menu of things like 'Open', 'Open in New Window', 'Open in New Tab', etc. Whether you want 'New Window' or 'New Tab' depends on your browser and your personal tastes.

And before anyone says it's my choice of browser, it's not. It's only started doing it this week.

If I type : P I get the very basic one, rather than the one shown in the smiley menu.
Same with the Big Grin one (my favourite!), I only get the : D version.
And it also happens by clicking on the ones I want from the menu.
But I can see, and have received PMs with the two I mentioned!
Anyone else?

It's doing it to me, too. I'm currently running Google Chrome. Firefox sometimes does it, but with password managers built in, plus plug ins that fix it, it can force the login without me even thinking about it.
It's real nuisance on my phone's browser. I have to stop long enough to log in before I can see the content I'm linked to, via email.
Hassle.

If you move your cursor out of the video box, the bar will auto disappear on some videos. At least, that's been my experience. If you want the video controls, you'll need to full screen it.
Or, if you right click the video, choose "Watch on YouTube" and it'll take you to the origin page for the video with all features intact.

Then, at some point, all issues ceased, so I figured the problem was fixed.
Recently, however, the problem has resumed, so now it's not working on my Wii again.
Though, I don't regularly use my Wii to browse the Internet, but there are still some times in which I've no choice, so it is an inconvenience.

So it's been confirmed as removed. Oh well. At least I know it's not just something specific to my briowser, or something.
