I added the pin stripes and cracked the glass. (Drivers side) The shine of the clearcoat shows best in sunlight
Here's where the pain is shown.
The cracked glass is simulated by using a razor knife to spiderweb the plastic. The tires were heated slightly and pushed flat. (Front mildly, back is 0 psi) The rims on this side were also slightly charred for effect.
I used a lighter to create a slight burn effect on the stripes.
The forearms have been smoked but I decided to drop the "panel full of gears" idea. I did cut the mouth so it looks like it's open. The oil dripping from it is just black basecoat that I dribbled in there and let it leak off to one side.
Being that I'm a car guy, I needed to add real car traits. The inside headliner is a neutral graphite colour, as are the inside A, B, and C pilars. A stoopid detail but something to take note of.
If you look at the rocker panels in the other pics, they too were done in this shade to simulate the plastic gaurds most imports come with these days. The undercarriage (Chest) uses a gunmetal colour to simulate rubberized coating which is sprayed onto todays cars..
