I'm talking about the Fellowship of the Ring. About a week ago, I finished reading the Hobbit. Last night, I watched Fellowship for the millionth time. This time, I noticed a bunch of references to the Hobbit. Every time there was one, I laughed.
Examples:
Bilbo describes the chapter 'Roasted Mutton' at his party. That's the part with trolls trying to decide how to cook him.
Gandalf finds a map in Bilbo's house that pictures the Lonely Mountain with Smaug at the top.
Gimli talkes about Balin repeatedly (though that may have been in the Fellowship book. I'm not sure), one of the dwarves in the Hobbit.
The scene where Bilbo finds the ring in Gollum's cave.
The scene where Frodo tells Gollum "This is Sting. You've see it before, haven't you?" (that was in the Two Towers, but okay.)
There were more, but I don't remember them now.

Don't take anything I say seriously, because what I say may not necessarily be what I mean.
