I know most if not all have seen a transformer card or box on the shelf with some random robot or car toy inside, where someone had bought then replaced the cheap toy to geth the transformers cheaper.
well while in walmart i looked at the transformers and seen 3 of the five generations bruticus figures but inside wernt the regular figures. Instead there was a G2 colored Onslaught, Swindle, and Vortex.
Found it really weird to find them replaced with the retail versions. They couldnt bve that much cheaper than the retail versions after shipping...

Are you sure they were swapped and not maybe sent out that way accidentally? Sometimes stuff does wind up on the wrong card at the factory. Were there obvious signs of the packaging being opened previously?

Either repackaging by a fellow fan or a factory fuzz-up.
