Autobot Genocide wrote:I'm not sure what it is but 3rdps are creating a new scale with the voyager sized figures , for me it's perfect as it fits my classics and if need be MP ... it's a fine line as most are a tad smaller if not the same size as Hegemon but then you wouldn't have Hegemon in your MP collection , it works for me .
Rated X wrote:What it is is that they are running out of "gaps" to fill in classics collections. Now theyre trying to encourage collectors to replace their hasbro figures altogether by using size as the selling point. Im not buying into it. Most of the vintage G1 autobot cars were deluxe scale anyways. In some cases the deluxe classics upgrade was taller than the vintage toy. I like to reserve voyager scale for high ranking characters in a faction. Hasbro has never had a problem delivering us those characters in voyager scale. So for me this whole new trend is overkill and alot of money saved.

Think the bigger Voyager scale will take these characters designs to the next level. As more parts can get added on the toys, Higher sculpt, Less compact toys and superior joints tech getting used.
Happy that 3rd parties are making more and more bigger toys. As this pleases some fans who like the bigger scaled toys.

You need to give the Classics line more leeway. We wouldn't have the modern Generations line without Classics, and most of those toys were simply fantastic.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Scale complaints.
By all means, criticize the scale discrepancies of figures that came out 8 years apart...Tsutsukakushi wrote:CHUG Astrotrain and CHUG Blitzwing need to be the same toy scale. Not one bigger and the other smaller.

Well, maybe the size. In a deluxe at $60 I'd be sorely tempted. I definitely like the look and engineering...

I had to go back and look. I thought they has missed the "L" not the "C".
