thats actually debatable.
Ultra Magnus was also created as Ultra Magnus.
and that can not be confirmed

But wait, isnt rodimus ony rodimus when he weilds the matrix of leadership? Because in that episode (the clip is above), he removes the matric, hence becoming hot rod again and then recieves the matrix once again. Technically, whenever he opens his chest to insert the matrix, he is hot rod right up until the matrix fuses with him turning him into rodimus.
Yup, that's what I was going to say too. Later in the episode, Prime comes to his senses and places the Matrix within Hot Rod. When the chest opened there, he was definitely Hot Rod.Agamemnon wrote:And then, of course, it opens from the other side later in the same episode (about 4:20):

It is not. It's a well-established fact in the cartoon continuity that Alpha Trion created Optimus Prime.

Tangent, and I'm sorry, but as bigcee66 said: TF:TM didn't fully kill all the old Autobots. Optimus in Dark Awakening did as "their chassis and servos" were sent into that sun by his Quintesson controlled self!! Dang it!! Dang it all to heck Hasbro!!bigcee66 wrote:Words cannot describe how much I loathed this episode as a kid when it originally aired (showing my age here). Whereas, Hot Rod was one of the Autobot cars. So the Matrix gave him a boost.
I think Sto is referring to the claim that Orion Pax was rebuilt by Alpha Trion without the Matrix at all is what's debatable. A portion of the fandom suspects that the "something" Alpha Trion said he had that could help Orion when Alpha Trion rebuilt him was the Matrix. Whether Alpha Trion used the Matrix as an element in Prime's reconstruction or if he gave Optimus the Matrix after the reconstruction was finished is the debatable part.william-james88 wrote:Cyberpath wrote:sto_vo_kor_2000 wrote:Cyberpath wrote:Ah, but Orion Pax wasn't changed by the Matrix, he was rebuilt as Optimus Prime by Alpha Trion.

I am right there with you Cyberpath, I dont get how this can be debatable. It was in every version of fiction surrounding Optimus Prime. Sto_vo_kor_2000, I am glad you are here with us taking part in this conversation but simply rejecting arguments with false throw away responses like "that's actually debatable" kinda lessens everything else you present.
