Import, no Diaclone has gotten a US release

Even if they wanted to release this as say, Battle Optimus Prime, the price point doesn't fit into any existing price/size class. From what I can tell this is more expensive than a Titan Class figure but roughly old style Leader Class.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Even smaller.
He's as tall as Diabattles.
180mm is roughly 7in. Diabattles is as tall as older voyagers or MP car bots.

Emerje wrote:Anyone know how much this weighs? (It's 700g, 1.5lbs no way that includes the trailer.) Only asking because the shipping from Amazon Japan is ridiculous. MP Optimus Prime was 1,200JPY (around $11.30) to ship, but Diaclone Battle Convoy is 5,296JPY (about $50). Total price is 32,728JPY ($308), it would be cheaper through TFsource. I'm guessing they had to change carriers for the pandemic, hopefully shipping is back to normal by February.

Maybe it is accurate then. MP-44 is like 4 lbs, but that's a bigger figure and there's a lot of extra stuff in the box, while Earthrise Prime is 1.10 lbs (I'm using Takara Tomy's listed weights, BTW) and probably more comparable in size.
It just occurred to me that Amazon Japan uses DHL for shipping to the US who is still fully active from Japan anyway so I have no idea what the story is with the shipping cost. And just for the fun of it I checked Sky Lynx who no doubt has a bigger box and weighs around 2 lbs and the shipping was around $21. I ended up pre-ordering and gambling with the hope that the shipping and maybe overall price drops by then.

anyways, have some fun with some parts swapping of the Triverse

Neither quite 100% go with the "military"/"black" decos. The regular one is close, but I don't feel the head/face quite matches.
I did bite the bullet and drop a $30 deposit on the Battle Convoy VMAX through BBTS. It does seem that shipping from Japan kind screws the cost savings lately. Plus if push *really* comes to shove I can still save $270 if I find I really cant afford him later. Eventually amazon.jp will cut that off... (just occurred to me I should have gone through TFSource- not that $5 flat rate shipping is a deal-breaker).
Was kind of hoping they'd leak the potential recolor of the Battle Convoy, or the 3rd V-Support vechile (though I'm not sold on the "tank mode" or the exo-gauntlets- though they look great with the Bike Boi).
Kind of surprised reviews/shipping hasn't happend for the Wauruder Solider type (Gigantor arm unit).
