Targetmaster Scourge....

And other musings on the Minions of Unicron:
Okay, so I was out and about today and I picked up the RTS battle in space pack. I really wanted a Rodimus figure, but I already had a Cyclonus, however the cartoon-accurate paintjob of "Cy" really got me hooked.
Now, I currently own Universe Galvy, Generations Scourge (x1), RTS Cyclonus, and Universe Cyclonus. My idea is to use Uni Cyclonus as the "Armada" that Skywarp became, but I don't want him to have a targetmaster partner. I do, however, want Scourge to have Fracas. So I've decided to swap Scourge's longer gun with "Armada's" nightstick - Now Cyclonus and Scourge have Nightstick and Fracas, and "Armada" has a rifle. The nice thing is, if I fold the gun barrel back and tuck the handle into "Armada's" targetmaster hole, it actually looks pretty decent in fighter mode. I'm letting Scourge keep the secondary gun, since he can use it in vehicle mode and as a secondary weapon in robot mode, or just keep it hidden in the wing.
Now, here comes the problem: Scourge cannot put "Fracas" anywhere while in jet mode. Does anyone think it would be possible to drill a hole somewhere on scourge where Fracas could sit (as he does with Cyclonus)? Also, should I paint him a different colour so he doesn't match so much with "Armada", and if so should Scourge's old rifle be repainted to look more suitable in "Armada's" hands?
Thanks for your advice and opinions!

What about adding a C-joint somehow to the targetmaster, so it can sit on Scourge's head in alt-mode, similar to the original Targetmaster Scourge?
No idea how you'd go about accomplishing such a thing, But I think I'd try that before drilling holes in the big blue (former) bathtub.

Not having any idea what your budget or focus is, have you considered buying United Fracas or his original PCC mould and repainting that?
Might save yourself a lot of work

This c-joint talk intrigues me. Are there any other "mini-cons" with c-joints? I'm not a fan of the dual missile launcher as Fracas, so....

Thanks for the thought...ran to Target after reading this and picked up an Icepick on clearance for $7 and took a silver sharpie to his sidekick. The results were rather impressive...and $52 cheaper! United Scourge now stands out that much more...

Hmmm, that does look pretty darn good, actually. Any alt-mode pics?

Of Scourge? AFAIK Fracas doesn't have a place to attach in alt mode, but I could be wrong. I'll have to look into it.
If you mean Fracas' alt mode, he's in Scourge's hand...(albeit slightly mistransformed in the solo Scourge pic - the hands should be attached to those pegs.)

Grrrr.
You've just given a second reason to look at PCCs. Those targetmaster sidekicks may be worth looking into.

Oh, I was assuming there was some way to attach him, like one of those "c" clips that would allow "fracas" to attach to Scourge's head or on to his larger gun, like the smaller gun does.
It's too bad, because that would be pretty darn cool. Not having a way to attach him in alt mode makes this option a tad less attractive.

Scourge alone was already impressive. Throw in Fracus and he's freaking awesome!

Is it just me, or do his hands look like c-clips? Can they attach solidly to his head tube or to his large gun? If so, a little 'surgery' might result in a one-handed figure that could be properly mounted on Scourge in alt-mode...
Edit: failing that, when Fracas is in weapon mode, is his powerlinx port facing down? I might be able to do something with that, if I can find some spare lego pieces...
