Maybe she's that girl married to that guy who renamed himself Optimus Prime.

I would never marry a guy named Optimus prime...No, mine is dubbed Unicron. He is skinny as a rake and eats all day... But yeah, he has optics.... :P

Yeah, Well I guess that i am another lucky one. The girl taht I have been hanging with has actually attended a Botcon, just to see what it was all cracked up to be, and has no problem with my addiction, just as long as I can cover my bills and still spoil her a bit

All my friends think I'm a dork (but then again we're all admitted geeks/dorks/nerd so it's all cool.) but they put up with me. lol.

As for my family, my bro was the one who watched G1 originally and when it reaired on fox he watched it while babysitting me so I watched too (I was like one or two at the time). So we talk TF once in a while, buy my mom thinks its quirky, my little bro likes TF too but not as much as me, and my Dad thinks it's weird and unconventional for a girl (me) to like Transformers or comics.

Needless to say I'm dragging them all to the Transformers movie when it releases.

I'm in Downingtown, but I was born and raised in Elkton. My brother lives in Bear as well, on Mansionhouse Rd.

The TF collection I've got belongs to my ex, but she didn't want them after her father bought her loyalty, he's the kind of man who thinks woman should obey him, should do everything for him and not have a single say in thier lives. So now I'm looking after the collection.
I doubt I'll ever find a woman where I live who's open minded about things like collecting Transformers, the majority of the women in this area think men are true men when they drink all day and night and worship sports while barely having enough intellect above that of a piece of dust.
But I guess if I did have a woman in my life, I would be honest with her and not hide anything. No point keeping secrets, honesty is the best policy. And even if she didn't like my interests, I would still continue with my interests since it's up to me if I want to be interested in what I am interested in or not. I don't take kindly to being controlled, had enough of that when I was a kid.
It could be worse, I could be interested in owning every car in the world, now that would be a problem. TF's remind me of what was taken from me and they remind me to make sure that if I ever get to be a parent, that I do my best to ensure that they get what I never had, a childhood. Letting a loved one control what you like just gives them control over every aspect of your life, it's better to be honest and come to an acceptable compromise since a loving relationship is a two way thing. Pity my ex never understood that.

Tony.

Same here. *is trying to stop her mind from wandering every time she sees...*

I'll report back in if I ever sort out the confusion.

*wishes you luck*

Thanks, and to you as well, my friend.

To both of you

I know it is always daunting asking someone you like out and I in no way a relationship expert I'm just giving advice based on my own personal expierence. I met a girl one night who totally blew my mind. She was smart, funny, hot etc etc. At the time I had really ow self esteem and thought this girl wouldn't want anything to do with me so I moved on and coincidently started dating her flat mate. A year later when the flat mate and I broke up I was talking to this girl and she asked me "Why did you reject me a year ago at that club?" I couldn't believe it. I lost a year of my life with this girl. 5 years later we are married with a baby boy. All I am saying is just go for it. Sure the guy might so no but on the other hand you could be losing valuable time with someone very special.

Hope I have been of some assistance

All of my purchases are covert and she even bugs me for coming to this site. I had to hide everything I kept and a lost most of my collection to buy the house. I slowly stash cash and save up, usually a dollar at a time, for all of my TF's.

And for all of you that want to pull that "Be honest with her" crap out on me, please don't.

I think I just rolfed all over my keyboard

Now there is a kink i am yet to try :-? . My girlfriend is pretty damn cool about the whole thing, she digs my tf tattoos, watches the show with me and my son, and even has her eye on a botcon arcee (just so she can get a girlie)-

although sometimes she gets a little freaked out! see woke up the other day to a room full of toys looking at her and just thought - "**** i am doing a kid" - thankfully the feeling passed. :P
"Dammit-You mean he's not dead???" Thats right! Im back and Im leading my Army of Misfits up from the ashes!!!!!!!
