To each their own, but for some reason the animal faces and legs on these TFC Predacons really irk me. The bot modes look decent though as a redeeming feature, but that won't be enough to pull my dollar.

OK, yep, that seals the deal. Those beast modes look fantastic. I'm getting this one. I likely will still get MMC's, but we'll see.

So I've been under a rock for a few months having fantasies about a 3P Abominus and I finally decided to trek through this thread and find this delightful string of news...I love this design, I have my choice for Predaking! Plus I think the TFC scale of Ares will look nice compared to my MT giant.

Just keeps looking more and more Hasbroish. I normally love TFC stuff but this version is not for me. I'm sticking with MMC Feral Rex.

Yeah, I am not crazy about this project from TFC. The Protectobots are more interesting.

A Streetwise? Come on, guys. We're still waiting on you finishing up the Aerielbots! You even gave us a teaser of another add-on kit, to boot. Finish up that combiner, for Primus' sake!

Those beast modes are growing on me, but they are quickly running out of time, show us Ares already!

What they are doing with Ares feet are inspired, should've done that with Uranos's feet and had them transform into Blackbirds jet engines

Streetwise looks great, but that gestalt foot looks crap.

It does doesn't it! With Streetwise's bonnet (hood in american speak? ) folding forward the connector might be low enough for them to line up, but can't tell for sure

$111 is a good price considering Leo Dux is $120 before any early bird discount, according to MMC's website. Lets hope BBTS can match or better that.

Re: BBTS pricing - probably not. RK is usually $20 cheaper than North American sites (including but not limited to BBTS) likely due to shipping.

I dunno about that. I'm getting it (already preordered). Of course, I'm getting MMC's as well. The only set I'm skipping is UT's.

$140 is to much, other 3P are dropping prices and increasing quality while TFC have added $10. There is every chance that Nemean will be bigger than Blackbird (though not according to the possibly wrong shipping weight) but Blackbird, like all their combiners, was a little over priced.

If I could afford both then I'd be fine with TFC's prices as well When there is no competition (and no, I don't consider Giant competition) then I'll bite the bullet and be very happy, I love Herc after all. If TFC had done an early bird special and knocked $20 off for the first week or so, I would've gone with Nemean even though it would've still been $10 more than Leo Dux, but they aren't making the extra effort like MMC are
