Same here! When I was a kid, I obtained a Highbrow (not my first choice, but was my only choice) from my parents at a Price Club (now Costco). And even though I also wanted a Targetmaster back then, I like this line more now than then.

I mean... I did not get a Targetmaster until the end of last year when I ordered the "Gentei!" version of Strafe. (BTW, I do like his origin in the Henkei!/G1 universe.) But as we speak, I generally ended up not liking the in-continuity Targetmasters than I do with a few in the manga timeline. But with Headmasters... We have three Maximus, Zarack, BlackZarack, and a bunch of great characters that made me want to collect them all.

But also, with this happening, if Takara Tomy is willing to respond to this with a reissue line of the Headmasters... I will do my best to thank these guys by buying their version of Chromedome. And that is one promise I am saying here, so lets hope that it happens, okay?

I kinda swore off 3rd-party guys to devote myself exclusively to G1 Masterpiece releases (it's one means of monetary self-control). But them Headmasters is awful temptin', if the scale is right with the MP figures, and with the view that Headmaster characters are perhaps unlikely to see MP versions, I may just be swayed on these.

I expect they'll be in scale with the rest of FPs releases. So probably somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager sized.

All will be bought by me. My wallet may commit suicide, but it believes in reincarnation, so it won't be much of a problem......

Those Insecticon retools... on the fence about. The Headmasters? yes please and more!

What would get me buying those Insecticon retools would be if they were released in their Red/Black colourschemes.

I'm going to make the call. Could be too early but I believe and I hope that the three insecticon retools will be homages to the Autobot micromaster Battle Patrol.

Think about it.

Causality 01 and 02 were also retools that paid tribute to Decepticon Micromasters Growl and Fireshot so its not that hard to imagine that the next three will be coloured similar to the Battle Patrol's Big Shot, Flak and Sunrunner excluding poor old Sidetrack.

What do you guys think?

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that possibility, but it seems entirely plausible... and it would certainly help these remolds sell. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what kind of paint apps and names these guys get when they go up for order.

Well, if the rumors are true and FP releases an additional, all new mold for Venom, maybe they plan a Sidetrack retool of that figure. Then we'd have a complete Battle Patrol team which would be too cool!
