£rd parties are willing to do a lot more stuff than Hasbro, simply due to lack of cost restrictions (comparatively). Thus, things we could never dream about from HasTak became real thanks to the 3rd party scene, from proper versions of classic characters (like Hercules) to all-new concepts and characters (like Steel Core). Unfortunately, there's also a hell of a lot of stuff that we'd really like that will most likely never be made, either because it's too obscure, too difficult to make or not GEEWUN enough.

So basically, whine here about stuff you really wish a 3rd party would make even though they likely never will. Like the other thread, but more 3P.

To start: Remember Archadis, the daft looking prehistoric bird Predacon? Well would you believe that he was not only originally a she, but also looked awesome (and pretty sexy to boot)?



I, for one, would love to see a proper figure of the original contest winning femmebot (complete with claw-bra and feathery outfit). For a kid's sketch it's pretty damn awesome and it's a real shame the final design was so...goofy. (Though the wing-toga is a nice touch.) HasTak wouldn't touch the design again in a million years, probably because you can't market a figure with breasts covered by folded bird-claws to kids, but I'd like to see a 3P company touch it one day. There's a distinct lack of non-spider female Decepticons/Predacons, and Archadis as she was originally envisioned would make a really unique addition to their ranks.

Also: A good Airachnid figure (sadly Prime has fallen into obscurity and engineering those rotors would be a bloody nightmare...MMC, please prove that statement wrong!), an FP upgrade kit for Constructicon Maximus (Maybe even converting PCC Sledge and Steamhammer into limbs for him; not likely because of all the Devastator options available) and SEACONS SEACONS SEACONS (not likely because evidently 3Ps have dreadful taste).

Leader class Mega Pretender Thunderwing. A Pretender shell that can Transform into a Jet. Want a Minicon or legends Class inner robot that can fit inside a cavity in the pretender shell. Need the inner robot to trasform into a tiny jet and merge with the bigger Pretender jet mode. Would like the toy to come with Pretender gear and those big weapons the original toy had.

Would like to see the Beast Wars Second Movie villian named Majin Zarak get a Leader class or Supreme class toy. Figure it can get repurposed later into a Trypticon toy.

Update toy for Transmetals 2 Megatron. Would like a more streamlined toy in the Voyager-Ultra Class. Minus the annoying gimmicks. Higher sculpt with no rubber parts. Less kibble than the original toy had.

Like to see some Masterpiece Voyager class toys created for some Beast Wars toys. Prefer they start with the Original Cheetor toy. So they can quickly repurpose the toy into Tigatron and Shadow panther.

I would like to see a proper version of the true leader of the decepticons...Dispensor

Thinking Raiden, Liokaiser and Landcross stand a great chance of getting 3rd party toys. Since HasTak might not have any plans to create CW toys for them.

Guessing TFCC might create a Liokaiser using a few Combiners wars toys.

Interesting topic. The list is easy with HasTak, but with 3rd party, it does kinda lean heavier towards the more unpopular characters.

An OC Triplechanger made out of a team that is comprise of a Headmaster, a Powermaster, a Targetmaster, a Brain, and a Breastforce animal.

I fear I'll never see a decently articulated deluxe Soundwave + Blaster from a 3rd party who also goes through the trouble of making all the cassetticons and cassetbots. I was holding my breath that Perfect Effect would be the first. They were pushing out the cassetticons with repaints for a while and then they just sorta gave up after a teaser of a shadowed looking Soundwave.

At the moment I'm hoping Mega Steel will take a crack at the cassetticons after they push out a Soundwave rumored to be their next figure following Granville (Megatron).

I could also use a SkyLynx. A G1 reminiscent version of Doublecross, Repugnus, and Grotusque would be great too. Pretty much all I want for my Autobot collection.

Decepticons are another story though. I have a short wishlist for FansProject. Mostly a Sixshot to go up against their Quickswitch and a Venom to finish off their Insecticons.

And last but not least, Duocons. My heart has a special place for them, but I really doubt anyone will take a crack at making them.

(Also Stormtroopers, Predators, and Cyberjets. I'm a fan of obscure decepticons . . . )

Hoping that if 3rd parties create Masterpiece toys for Blitzwing. That the repaint will be Flywheels.

Eh, think I'm going to pass on a recolored Blitzwing as Flywheels. I appreciate the sentiment toward the character, but the Duocon gimmick is something I'm most nostalgic over. I mean, I can understand repainting Blitzwing for Doubledealer. He practically was a triple-changer in his own right, but the Duocons were a little more unique than that.

I remember someone showing off silhouettes for SkyLynx among a few other characters, but I assumed they've thrown in the towel since we've heard nothing from them since.

To each their own, but I too would prefer scout or deluxe class figures which turned into a voyager.

I was thinking the other day. I am surprised no 3rd Parties made any of those 3mm clip weapons. Like just a case of random extra weapons considering a few of TFs came with some of those 3mm bars for them to clip on too and only a few came with actual clip weapons.
