Megatron's facial expressions in this episode are brilliant.
Good to see some emotion other than evil glee and anger.

I think "epic" would best describe this episode.

Smokescreen really comes under the gun from the other 'bots for his irresponsible attitude - and totally deserves it. He had no business taking Jack into that situation, and Arcee and Optimus quite rightly rake him over the coals for it. This is probably the most irresponsible Jack's been as well, and I can only imagine what will happen when Arcee (and worse, possibly his mother) get through with him.

As Saberblade said, an angry Optimus is "brrr." Though in this episode, he doesn't raise his voice, but he is almost growling at Smokescreen when he berates him. In a way, that's more frightening than a screaming Optimus.

Possibly the most epic "I just crapped my titanium shorts" expression we've seen on any Megatron.

It reminds me of what my dad would say about his father. When my grandfather got mad at any of his children, he didn't raise his voice. He lowered it. Deepened it. :-s ;)

That was incredible!

The whole Smokescreen story is meh, hopefully he gets his act together soon. But that Starsaber! When Optimus shoots that blast at the Nemesis!

I also love the ending where Optimus scorns Smokescreen, and I new we would be getting some Alpha Trion story! Bring it on!

Also, I agree with what someone said about that relics all being on Earth. I too, would like an explanation for why so many are here. They should have one maybe on the moon, or Mars or something (like that one Mini-Con from Armada). Maybe Alpha Trion will explain it?

Wow ... Just wow! Quite possibly the best episode of the series! Megatron's expressions and his downright fear while staring down at Prime from the Nemesis, more wonderful Smokescreen and the little one-liners ... I actually spit beer through my nose when Prime pulled the sword and Smokescreen said "I loosened it for him", totally wasn't expecting that!

Bravo Hasbro!

So, what do you think they'll do with Cylas' remains? I'm betting on either some sort of armor or make him a mindless drone. :-?

I just hope he doesn't get rescued by leftover MECH members or something like that. I get the feeling that the end of Human Factor was supposed to be THE END of Cylas. I mean, how long can he live after being dissected, on a Decepticon ship where there's no food, water, or anyone with knowledge of human biology? The Autobots don't care to rescue him either. Also, Knock Out saying "Breakdown would be tickled" seems like a "Breakdown is gone for good". Maybe the next time the Autobots sneak aboard the Nemesis, they'll pass by a room where you get a glimpse of Breakdown's parts all cut up to pieces. Or Starscream will come aboard and see it, and smirk. I don't expect any Cylas come-backs though. He was the best human villian in a TF show I've seen, but his run is over. I'd be disappointed if he came back, unless it was done really well.

EDIT: Ah yes, I thought about it being part of Megatron's new arm, but what would the use of that be? I'm under the impression the arm has some kind of PRIME significance that allows for use of the hammer, what does that have to do with Cylas/Breakdown?

PLOT MAGIC.
Well, they've never been ones to use that in this show. It would be a good explanation for a new hand, minus the part where it somehow magically allows him to use the Forge of Solus Prime.

Because Megatron and Dreadwing go to Cybertron, rip the arm off of a dead prime (Alpha Trion, Zeta Prime, Solus Prime, it's up for grabs right now) and gets a mix-and-match kit called Knock Out to install it on him. It's not spare parts from Cylas. Breakdown can't use weapons forged by Solus Prime.

Alpha Trion is, apparently, still alive, and Solus Prime's body is not on Cybertron. Megatron could probably find her mausoleum, but I doubt her arm would fit him.

I wasn't expecting any atomic-grade weapons (that is, these two swords) to rock up with the named character populations still so small. Kind of dashes my hopes altogether for the population levels I started watching the show for in the first place.

I get that the numbers active per faction at the moment will leave easy handling of an equivalent number of Star Seekers, Constructicons (who have been mentioned), Wreckers, Elite Guard, Dinobots and so on to be introduced.

Hope this show gets split into spin offs to continue the aligned continuity family rather than just shut down.

Wouldn't be surprised if Optimus wrecks Megzys' new forearm, leaving him with the Dark-Energon-Saber and the Hammer but no arm (Even tho there's another forearm in the tomb and potentially another 13 Primes [12 + Optimus] for Megz to body-part snatch. Kinda ridiculous odds, really).

Lolz so from now on in the show, they're done hunting relics and they have to get all the Primes' limbs before Megatron gets them? That would be hilariously ludicrous

Well, since Darkness Rising, we did get Wheeljack, Smokescreen, Knock Out, Breakdown, Airachnid, Skyquake, Makeshift, Insecticons, Shockwave, and Dreadwing. Sounds like a good lineup to me, even though half of those guys are dead or in stasis. :-(

I do expect to see more named 'bots and 'cons. My only problem is that I don't think they'll stay in the primary chain of command. They'll either be part of a subgroup, die, or replace someone that died or went rogue.

Honestly, we haven't gotten more than 6 main/secondary cast members, as far as bots go, at a time.

I get that the numbers active per faction at the moment will leave easy handling of an equivalent number of Star Seekers, Constructicons (who have been mentioned), Wreckers, Elite Guard, Dinobots and so on to be introduced.

We do have to consider that character models are expensive. They can only make so many and keep so many in their budget.

Hope this show gets split into spin offs to continue the aligned continuity family rather than just shut down.

Well, the aligned continuity family is going to last about 8 more years minimum. I don't expect to see Prime go away just yet. It's supposed to last 3 more years, so I hope we do get a spin-off of some sort to fill in the last 5 years. And with the same CGI animation style! It's brilliant!

I wouldn't count on another set of 13 Primes. I also don't expect Megatron's new arm to go anywhere yet. Maybe in the Season finale (which I want to hear about so bad).

They'll probably just work around by either it having no effect or having him not transform at all while wearing the arm.

Though, imagine him transforming with the new arm just dangling off the side like a tail flailing in the wind. :P

Loving this season best Transformers show ever and now my all time fav surpassing G1 and even beast wars. Being G1 original I cant wait to see more and see how things change.

Loving the new deals such as the Starsaber sure isnt even like the Armada Starsaber which was used by combining 3 Mini-Cons.

Like I said everything in Prime is a 180 completly diffrent than what it was in previous shows such as Starsaber or the Immbolizer and other artifacts. They only share there namesake.

I do think Smokescreen is shifty and I dont know if he is a Decipticon spy we havent seen to much on Smokescreen yet so I need to see more or read more before I make my final judgement.

It seems to me on Prime that the Autobots are getting away from the kids from Raf's ReLocation, or Jack getting scolded by Arcee little hardcore there makes me wonder if Jack will leave Team Prime. Miko not being on this season much and distancing herself from Bulk. Raf' Deal is he just had to move to a new location cause of the battle with Silas/Breakdown.

The Starsaber was epic amazing, what was with OP going hardcore like that saying something about being Titans. That is unusual talk from OP maybe these artifacts such as the Starsaber changes Prime his personality.

I cant wait to see how the Omega Keys work, where on Cybertron. and how Megatron will use and control them.

Only 2 episodes remain Unlisted which is episode 25 & 26 no title or description.

Starscream wanting a Truce this could be trouble if it goes down but I dont think Dreadwing will allow this.

On the Beast Hunters could be cool deal if it continues on the path of Prime depends on how season 2 ends to set up for Beast Hunters Season 3.

Could this be how the Dinobots will be into Prime they are Beast so maybe the Autobots find them in Season 3.

Cool deal Prime possible continued into 2015 awesome that could mean season 5 or 6. 16 Episodes is a good solid chunk for a season Considering Animated Season 2 didnt even have around 10 or so episodes.

You can cram alot in 16 episodes. For now I am watching Prime and see the deal with the Omega Keys. Will we finally see Alpha Trion in person and also what about Smokescreen, will we find out the truth only a confrontation with AT will tell the tail on Smokescreen being a Decipticon or not.

Awesome Action in S2 now is Fridays episode then the premiere of TMNT this saturday.

I don't think they're trying to get away from the kids. Don't expect them to leave either, Tania and Josh said they're reading in Season 3.

Starscream wanting a Truce this could be trouble if it goes down but I dont think Dreadwing will allow this.

Then again, what kind of choice does he have? He'll probably just intervein in the shadows.

Could this be how the Dinobots will be into Prime they are Beast so maybe the Autobots find them in Season 3.

I think it will focus more on the Star Seekers, Dinobots, and Insecticons. They're all beasts (and hopefully we'll get toys of them in the BH toyline). ;)

Cool deal Prime possible continued into 2015 awesome that could mean season 5 or 6. 16 Episodes is a good solid chunk for a season Considering Animated Season 2 didnt even have around 10 or so episodes.

Actually, each season had 13 episodes.

I doubt he's a 'con (I hope not). And I'm thinking Alpha Trion got killed between the point where he "stayed on Cybertron" and the events of Prime. It'd make for epic story arc.

:D

Oh, my gosh. I just found something out!

Remember Billy Brown? You know, that nobody that voiced Cliffy in Out of the Past?

Well, according to IMBD, which I hope is right, he also voiced DJ Professor K on my favorite video game series of Jet Set Radio!

So...I just had a big nerdgasm...but...

back on topic.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm just wondering, for Beast Hunters, if they'll bring in more characters that will turn into beasts. Hopefully Cybertron-esque characters like Undermine and Scourge! Yes Scourge! Please Scourge! Maybe a little bit of Cheetor and Rattletrap? Scorponok? More Scourge?

And I hope they don't stop introducing vehicle Transformers. I mean, if they do that, they could make them "Beast Hunters." Literal Beast Hunters. Think about it, for a long time.
