Really, Scattershot? Huh. Silverbolt may be the number 1 choice, but Scattershot may be worth consideration :-?

Magnaboss looks creepy to me. Just look at that face.

I think Magnaboss is really cool actually. I'm in the process of planning out what to do and how it's going to go down.

So here's the plan:

Silverbolt (if I can get one cheap) as the torso, cause ya know, gotta go with what is natural and it would feel weird to get Scattershot and call him Silverbolt. Plus the colors are a bit wrong. Next, I'm getting another Trailbreaker to go as an arm opposite of my Ironhide for symmetry that is also very muscular, as beast formers should be. My one Prowl and Wheeljack shall form the legs, while the other Prowl shall just be a regular guy like Sunstreaker who can go random places.

I'm also trying to find stickers, just plain colored ones, so I can differentiate the guys a bit more, like make Silverbolt a little more brown, add some more grey to Ironhide, even add some more Yellow to Prowl. I'm hoping I am getting enough Maximal symbols too.

But once this is all over, I'm thinking I'll have a pretty killer Magnaboss that is utterly unique and awesome. Plus, it frees up Optimus and Sky Lynx to be their own guys and there still be a combiner. Plus, those 2 and the spare Prowl can always do some fun combo's with the Magna-crew. (Sunstreaker is purely Lost Light, he will only combo it with those guys).

On that note: anyone know where I can find a good cheap Silverbolt? :MAXIMAL:

Ok, so now for the low down on this guy.

it started when I saw the Botcon set and I really wanted it. I have recently fallen in love with Magnaboss and I really wanted one. I already had Ironhide and Prowl, so I needed another Silverbolt and the stickers. So I set to work on the stickers. Last week, I won a set on Ebay for $7.00, and then Sunday won a Voyager Silverbolt mint in package for $19 shipped. Those parts were ready.

Now, the other 2 limbs are supposed to be tigatron and Unit-3, But I just couldn't justify it to myself so I set to work figuring out something else. I had another Prowl, Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack as spare limbs. I usually have Sunstreaker over on the Lost Light shelf and the other 2 form a combiner with either Optimus or Sky Lynx. in the end, I decided to use an idea that Cobotron said a while back: Turn Sunstreaker into Cheetor. but I didn't literally do that. He's still Sunstreaker, but in cheetah print, kinda how I'd picture him in Beast Wars. the other Prowl became Prowl II, who is an official character who turns into an owl.

So I got the stickers on Wednesday, and I bought some more from Walmart for more detail and I set to work. I also used the leftovers from the Magnaboss sticker sheets to add extra details, which is why those guys look more detailed then they should with those stickers. I then got Silverbolt today and after about 8 hours total messing with them, I feel good about the results. Silverbolt is based on an Eagle, Ironhide an elephant, Prowl a Lion, Prowl II an owl, and Sunstreaker a cheetah. They all replaced the Autobot logos with Maximal logos, and they look pretty awesome to me. I even took up the botcon suggestion on how to give Magnaboss his sword. I used some leftover stickers to give Jackie an upgrade as well. (he'll be pictured afterwards).

So, without further ado, here we go. Picture requests will be fulfilled if you want to take a closer look at details.

I have a backstory for these guys forming up, but wheeljack didn't create him; he more just came along for the trip along with Optimus. :MAXIMAL:

See, Optimus and wheeljack came along for the trip to make sure a combiner could be formed. They meet the new Silverbolt and then the other 4 limbs and Silverbolt upgrade into Maximals, while Wheeljack studies and Optimus leads the mighty warrior.

I'm going to bed here in a couple, otherwise I'd do more pics and actually tell the backstory. I'll get to it though! :MAXIMAL:
