For me that was a figure that cut both ways. He was very imposing and spectacular on display, but he's somewhat clunky and limited in posing. I did prefer the Galvatron redeco, they really got the homage to the G1 character right. Hopefully Legacy does him justice eventually. Maybe their treatment of Armada Megatron will indicate their commitment.

I got a new Cybertron figure, Hardtop. I got him solely to end up with my Earthspark crew. This is my 2nd of the mold, as I have the movie repaint on my movie shelf, and it's still a nice solid figure.

Hardtop is a pretty neat guy and mold. I currently only have the movie version, but I do want to get the original flavor too, as well as Swindle (Although they're definitely lower-priority than, say, Undermine or Lugnutz). What do you think would be a good rename for the movie version?

Not sure, I still like Hardtop for him as a movie guy. I keep in him alt mode as that mode works best on the shelf.

Works for him as a movie figure, less so if you put him as part of Cyb Megs' army as I have in mind.

Finally got myself a Cybertron Thudercracker! This one comes from Seibertron's store. My brother ordered a few things during the sale, and I asked him if could get me this boy while he was at it. One step closer to fulfilling my childhood collection dreams! This may not technically be the greatest Thundercracker toy, but I still think this is a great design and a perfectly serviceable representation of the greatest iteration of Thudercracker of all time. I've made so much progress in bulking up my Cybertron Decepticon team in the last year and a half, which is very exciting and satisfying after all this time.

What a group! Ransack and Dirt Boss I've had since 2005, everyone else is a recent acquisition.

Congrats on getting Cybertron TC. I see you've already figured out tucking the strut for his left arm in between his chest and his back.

I remember when so much of the fandom didn't grasp that, and all the bellyaching about the mold that resulted...

Nope, I own him. I need some of the more basic ones, I own all the planet leaders, Cybertron Defense team, Megatron, Menasor, etc.

Yes, securing his left arm seemed like a logical final step, so I fiddled around until I found that it snugged nicely (with a little soft click, even) into the gap left there. It was trying to see if the right shoulder joint did the same that threw me, actually! It appears it does not sit flush in the same gap on the other side, strangely enough. It stays in place well enough regardless, though, so it's no problem.

Well, I finally did it. I got him. By Primus.

I scroll Ebay every so often out of curiosity. I gauge how much certain figures tend to go for to set budget expectations. I was prepared to one day spend a hefty amount of money to acquire a certain grail of mine - Cybertron Optimus Prime. Last week I was at it again, idly scrolling around, when I happened across a listing for not just that very figure, but the Galaxy Force redeco, for a much more accessible price than he tends to go for at this level of quality. A few days later and this is in my house.

This thing is awesome.
It's nearly complete. It's only missing two missiles, but the one can stay in the rifle to maintain symmetricity. The electronics are not active, but I can look into that. It's got the Cyber Key and both head fins, and, even though the listing said it was not included, the Matrix! The figure was kept and shipped in vehicle mode, so the seller must not have known it rests behind the chest piece. I was quite happy to spot it in there!

The leg guns have 5mm cavities at the ends, which makes them blast effect compatible! I had no idea.

Now, what's nice about having the Galaxy Force version of the mould is that it still allows a place for the Siege Galaxy Upgrade Prime, which is still a favourite of mine. That toy can still represent Optimus in his classic colours while the GF version can do all of the things we know Cybertron Prime for.

For instance, I can now do a proper Savage Claw Mode! I could just about manage on with the Siege figure, but now Leobreaker's arm mode can be properly supported.

As for Sonic Wing Mode, while I do not have Wing Saber proper, I have had Wingblade since, like, 2009. He was one of the biggest toys in my collection for a long time, and I used to put him into his backpack mode often just to pretend I could experience what I saw in the show. Now I can finally attach that backpack to it's destined wearer! Fittingly, they are both redecos of the original Sonic Wing Duo, which makes the combination all the more satisfying.

Finally getting to handle this figure has been an absolute dream come true and very nostalgic in all the best ways. Doubly glad I could do this at much less of a strain on my bank account, too! Sometimes patience pays off!

Awesome grab! That is the version of Cybertron prime I have as well, I love the red and black look, especially with the planet symbols on his shoulders. I like it more than the red and blue, and like you my Siege Galaxy Prime stands as my red and blue version of that form

Here is my Cybertron display so far. I'm still looking for Cybertron Scourge and Metroplex to finish out the planet leaders. The reason Cybertron Prime is missing one of his wings is because it is my original from when I was a kid.
