Killerpunch had always been a keen follower of the news, both the fake stuff most Cybertronian sheep thought was News and what he knew to be the REAL news, but never had he thought he’d be the one broadcasting it. Ever since Bun-Bun had given him the key to hacking into WPNN’s signal he had free reign to pop on whenever he wanted with a digital mask of Zombi Cheerleader and correct their propaganda. Sure he was ordered to counter it with his bosses propaganda but the Rabbit had given him leeway on what else he added in. Finally he had the power to inform the masses about who REALLY pulled the strings on this planet.

It was nice to finally get to badmouth Necropsy. In reality she had always been one of Bun-Bun’s favorites but her and her creep show clones never sat well with him. He was sure she was in league with Unicron.

“It’s very suspicious that her adoption by Psychout corresponds with the reported offlining of all the former teammates that mutinied with her. Clearly she was personally involved and should be & will be in prison once Bun-Bun is successful in his current campaign.”

Well he could hope anyways. The best part of his job was the chance to shape public opinion, perhaps if enough people pressured him the rabbit would have to act.

Shutting down the communications module Killerpunch sat back and relaxed. It was all preposterous. Why would people even believe Bun-Bun would defect to the Bots. He’s an elder member of the RDD, and well respected amongst the unaligned Cons… there’s no reason he would throw all that away to go over to the Bots. Why just last week he had all those high level meetings with Psychout….

Suddenly sitting up straight. Killerpunch brought up his meticulous logs of the groups activities & meetings. Hrm… meetings with Psychout & High Command… & Necropsy….. Frequent restricted communications with Wingz… Large energon transfers…
“He’s really going to do it!”

Spinning around Killerpunch finally noticed Bun-Bun standing in the doorway.

“The question is now that you know what are we going to do about it?”

“I remain loyal to you and will do whatever is needed to help this scheme work.... though I fail to understand it”

“I believe you KP, that’s why I’m gonna keep you around. But… I also listen to your broadcasts & know how often you slip so you’re going on ‘hiatus’ for the rest of the campaign… or at least your brain is. I’m don’t need any more hiccups in the plan than what we’ve already had to deal with.”

A few minutes later after performing a temporary partial lobotomy on his Intelligence Officer and giving him the next WPNN hijack script Bun-Bun headed back to his command station. He really hoped the remainder of his crew didn’t catch on. He was sure they’d be fine after the fact but if they knew what was really going on they may try something rash to stop him. As for Killerpunch, well he’d be put back to normal soon but in the meantime at least the propaganda he put out using the codes Psychout had provided would sound a little more believable without the constant editorializing.
