His hands do hold his g1 weapons very well though from what i have heard. I would mind two of the red molded blasters to have him dual wield. The color looks to be very close as well...

Don't have those two to try. :-( I've tried ROTF Recon Ironhide's rifle, RTS Jazz's pistol, Generation Kup's rifle, Classics Jetfire's gun, and of course Blurr's rifle. All of them waggled and then dropped. Well, at least the double side trick solved my problem.

Yuck-yuck-yuck.

How? I always have trouble fold them out first before rotating. So always have to rotate and push in hard to pop those damn two handlebars out.

About my third transform with him, changing him into bot mode, I tried to fold back the handlebars before doing anything else and POP, one of them came straight off. The brown plastic that held the pin in place just snapped on both sides of the pin. Can't even super glue it because that will most likely fix the pin in place :(

However, one cool thing I noticed about Wreck-Gar: you don't strictly need to remove his weapon to transform him. In-fact, you can keep the weapon attached, then have him kneel down on one leg, grab the handle of the axe-thing, have him remove it from the clip, stand up and hand it off to his other hand.

How awesome is that?

While not something overlooked, I found out good old Quickstrike can do a one handed handstand with his scorpion-leg-arm, and he can pull of some awesome poses while balanced on one foot.

I just noticed Masterpiece Megetron's scope gun is in 3 pieces. If you take the short/wide piece off, his gun is much more in proportion with his body and doesn't make his body lean at all. Well, he still leans because of the permanent damage of leaving it on for too long... Haha

Alternity Prime: it says in the instructions that to start the transformation you should disconnect the swivel part near the elbow from the door. I've just discovered that it's actually designed that you slide the seats to the outside of the car and this disconnects that part.

Actually, it WAS about TRansformers originally but for some reason the second post changed all that.

Interesting, I'll have to try that!

Weapon: Energy Blades
i just discovered that animated black arachnia's torso slides down in spider mode giving here a much better alt mode. (i never had the instructions as i got her loose so this was a surprise)

and i know its common knowledge now but the animated voyager seeker mold's having the slide out arm cannons was still a surprise when i first found out about it

also G1 megatrons accesories forming a cannon i knew about, but i didnt know it could form a seated gun mode for micro man figures (i always wondered wht those flip out handles were about on the scope!)

I pulled out MP Optimus Prime last night (technically the 20th Anniv. DVD version) and was transforming him from trukk to robot, when I discovered that his front bumper can rotate before folding into his chest. The result gives you some mechanical bits to look at thru the chest windows, instead of the front bumper of a truck. How nice, except that I've had this guy for about 5 years and I just realized this.

And now I'll have to get another TFA Blackarachnia (sold my original) so she can ride RTS Wreck-Gar (once I find him, of course), that looks great!

I didn't realise that you can remove the scope and barrel on the tiny Megatron that comes with MP Optimus. Ffffffffffffff...

I didn't realize until getting the Blurr remold that Drift has a hinge on his back where you clip the sword in. It does absolutely nothing(and is hard to move without usings Blurr's rifle), but hey it's a hinge and not just a clip.

The hinge allows you to pivot the sword/rifle back so it doesn't get in the way of the legs. It's also double-hinged, so it pulls outwards from the back.

I think the instructions say to rotate it so the chrome side is hidden but I prefer the look of the chrome parts through the window. The other side looks too dull.

Me too, plus the screws on that side look bad.
