I think you made the right choice if you're wanting something g1 in appearance .

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

By giving the dino neck one extra column level. Also the screw on the top of the test shot dino neck that goes into the back part of the dino head. has now been covered up for the final colored version.
Think it looked better with the shorter dino neck. Don't know why TW would bother to resculpt the Dino neck to make it longer. Guessing for the combined form.

Ya know, it is G1, but it's more about a Takara esthetic for me. Even in their modernization, they look like Takara could have designed them. Something about the head sculpts.

If you look at the new dino mode pics you can see the dino head turns where the prototype shows no evidence of this. I think that you're right - it looked better before, but I think giving it the ability to turn is a worthwhile tradeoff.

Think this might be the first Corelock group robots pic.
I appreciate the attempt some designers make at integration, but it usually doesn't pan out. I'd rather have parts-forming combiners. Didn't bother me when I was a kid, doesn't bother me nowCobotron wrote:I'm old school, so I can handle the parts. But integration is always cool.
Delta Magnus wrote:Partsforming isn't so bad when the parts actually do something meaningful (see: FP Bruticus, Hercules etc). When they just sit off to the side with nothing to do...that's just lame.
