Hey everyone, I am a professional illustrator whose been in the game for 20+ years and have had the pleasure of working in animation, film, print and currently advertising & sketch cards. I've always loved mechas or "giant robots", especially Super Robots like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Grendizer, Gaiking, Combattra, Voltus V, Raideen and scores of others. It was this love that eventually took me on my journey thru the G1 animated Transformer series and the Animated Movie (Which I watched in a theatre). I love the concept of robots fighting with humans as either an extension of the hero or as allies to humanity.
With that said, I welcome you to my small artistic galaxy in the massive mech universe First Off- Here's me and my partner James Biggie (Cover Artist Bot of Honors) original web series - Robot God Akamatsu with Lettering/Editorial assist from Josh Van Reyk (Choose Wisely Productions)

This piece was featured on the cover of Savannah Now last week with a circulation of 45,000 readers. It is a true collector's item for the Transformer fan and I'm glad that it has a new home Through the work on Savcon, I was commissioned by Gregg Berger (Grimlock) to do his banner and mini poster, here's the excerpt from when I posted it on IDW Forum -
" Hey guys and gals, I'm still on cloud nine after getting the okay from Gregg to post the art that he commissioned me to do for him. Pretty much I'd like to thank Sean Casey and SavCon for allowing me to do sketch cards for the voice actors as well as prints for the show. It was the sketch card art that I did for Gregg that prompted him to reach out and contact me.
He really loved what I did and wanted new artwork for his retractable banner. I had to redraw blow up the Dpi from my initial sketch card and then develop a composition that reflected Gregg and Grimlock.
I went with a movie reel design to signify the animation and Gregg representing the voice.
He loved it and I think it will be unveiled this weekend at SavCon- I told my partner to get good pics of him next to it. I'm working on the Transformer Card set and other projects and can't make it
Gregg contacted me a few weeks ago about revising his 8x10 print. He sent reference last week and I began working on it this weekend. I sent the final image last night and he loved it with very minor tweaks.
I am so honored that I got the opportunity to do artwork for one of my beloved heroes of the TF universe and look forward to working with others as well in the coming future.
I just wanted to share this amazing moment and ti let other artist know that karma is a real thing and from one thing (sketch cars), I end up doing something for a legend " B/W ink drawingFull ColorFinal Banner - 36 (W) x 78.75 (T)8x10 Print
