Is the voyager movie Shockwave about the same size as Classics Optimus and Megatron?

If this was a Galvatron figure I would buy this, but it's just a fancy, cool looking repaint. Maybe someone could make a custom Galvatron out of it, but I probably will save money by not getting him. But he's still pretty cool looking for people who are ok with repaints.

Managed to snag one of these for a single quid, the seller apparently does have several judging from the fact he just re-listed yet another one and has another as a high priced buy-it-now.

Keep in mind that shipping though...translates to $27 US by itself.

He apparently gave up on the auction stance it seems: he's got it now as a BIN at $80.56 US, or at a little over $100 for all three variants in one lot, no shipping fees. o_O

Got it in the mail today, and immediately swapped the cannon on the original. The results look...actually very good.

As you can see even the mechtech gun works right, and uses non-clear parts for the levers and so forth that make it more structurally sound.

Here's a shot of the repaint with Shockwave's original gun:

All in all this looks and feels very official too: the joints are tight, the parts match up and it has the same weight as the original. An interesting bit is that the decepticon logo has also been moved, instead of being painted on the gun it's now painted on the headrest for the tank mode.

Definitely worth the roughly $25 I paid for it.

Seibertron.com member Kung Fu Man has shared a few in-hand images of the Transformers Dark of the Moon Voyager Shockwave repaint featuring translucent MechTech cannon and hose that surfaced a couple of weeks ago. Besides the obvious color changes and inclusion of translucent plastics, the Decepticon symbol has been moved from the cannon to the front portion/face cover of the tank. Still no word on the availability of this repaint.

- US launch Repaint - I think they should have just taken the original and recolored all the colored parts purple. Just a translucent tip on his cannon would have been a nice touch along with a black hose from the cannon.

-Takara Version - same as above but with added shininess in various places.

Meh.....i'll stick to my G1. Although i do like the translucent plastic. I just still haven't seen a shockwave that beats the original and has tempted me to buy it. Even though the DOTM version is growing on me it just doesn't have a place in my collection whatsoever.

The tanslucent weapons looks great on shockwave but i'd keep the translucent tube on the original one as well.

I had the same notion!! Got both variants yesterday in the mail, some of the parts are the same colour as each other, unfortunately (so I can leave my 'normal' Shockwave as is), but, so far, I have managed to swap the chest - now I gotta figure out how to drift the pins out of their hinges to swap the feet, but now I have a more G1-ish Shockwave AND Shackwave:
