Have actually a boy or two in the line even though they are really needed. The fembots don't need to compete or impress them to reproduce only to impress or companionship. They should have female leaders as well.

The thing I would dread though is that they would make all the girls ditzy, frilly, or so freakin' hardcore that nobody likes them...
I want some femmes with realistic personalities.

Femmes of all types are great. I too wish there were more of them.

You're right... femmes rule...
But it's just annoying to have them show nothing but irratating qualities.
Like Thunderblast for example. She's a stupid, ditzy, fangirly, vindictive twit!! And that's it. There are no other qualities to her.
Sure they had another femme in the Cycertron series. Override!!
She was awesome!! A leader, smart, tough...
But from what I heard from someone else, Override wasn't even a girl originally. She was a guy in the Japanese version!!
They just turned her into a girl in the English version so that the feminist viewers wouldn't be pissed that the only female character (Thunderblast) was an idiot.
That's what I heard...

Personally, I loved Thunderblast for the very reasons you hated her. Come on a "Valley Girl" Decepticon? She had me in stitches. As for Override, She was a great character, and, yes, in Galaxy Force, Override's Japanese counterpart, Nitro Convoy, is technically male. Hasbro made Override female because they needed at least one female Autobot in the story. They chose Override because that mold was the most "feminine" of all of the Cybertron designs with the high heels and such, even though the body is as unfeminie as you can get, Though I have known a few women in real life with bodies like that.

Yeah, I guess...
But come on!! I want some vicious Decepti-Femmes!!
And more Autobot femmes too...

So do I. I'm a guy, and I just love Fem bots, the more the better. A number of my customs are fem bots, both Autobot and Decepticon. Some of my favorite G1 characters were the femmes— Elita-One, Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Arcee, Nightbird. I loved them all, even though only Arcee had a regular recurring role. I wish they all had toys. That's why I've been biulding my own versions of them, and a few others.
Some fans can't wrap their heads around the idea of robots having genders (sexes), and see no need for female Transformers at all. They don't like the concept and never will. Personally, I don't see why there wouldn't be female Transformers. I also see no reason why Transformers can't reproduce just like us, yet some fans can't get past the idea of them being robots and not organic, and thus shouldn'follow the same laws regarding life forms. Even More than Meets the Ey #8 states that there are other untapped methods of creating new Cybetronina life besides imbuing a protoform with a spark. Also, the Victory manga did show the children of the Dinoforce, along with Deathsaurus' wife and Liozak's sister, and G1 Wheelie was a child as well. Fi you have males, females, marriages, families, and children, something must be going on. transformers created from Protoforms all have fully adult bodies, not child bodies.Siren Prime wrote:That's cool!!

I was ticked when they booted Arcee out of the movie though...
I don't understand why fans didn't want her...

Yeah, but it would still be nice of their were more official ones. So far, there are only a handful, and even those are divided between different universes and time lines. In G1 we had Elita-1, Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Arcee, and Beta. In Beast Wars/Beast Machines, we had Black Arachnia, Airrazor, Strika, and Botanica. In Armada (comics), we had Airazor (taken from another universe), the minicons, Sureshock, Cliffjumper, Spiral, and Ironhide. In Energon, we had Arcee, and in Cybertron, we had Thunderblast and Override, as well as that unnamed motorcycle civilian Autobot. That is a total of 19 offical female Transformers (18 if you count Beastwars Airazor and Armada Airrazor as the same character). If you add in the BotCon exclusive characters, Glyph, Antagony, Chromia, Flareup, Roulette, Shadowstryker, and Flamewar, the total climbs to only 26 femmes, 27 if you add in Nightbird, though she wasn't an actual Transformer.

Yeah, and compare that to the HUGE number of mechs (male TF's), and you have a very uneven ratio.

I have a few OC femmes I've created or come up with concepts for as well. I don't know whether to count recreating Nightbird as a Seeker would count because she was a G1 character, I just made her into a Seeker. The three tyruely OC femmes I've created though are her subordinates, the Decepticon Furies. They're a trio of female Deceptcons, named Malice, Ferocity, and Discord. So far, I've made figures for Ferocity and Discord.

Exactly, which is probably why we don't see more Transformers beong bornm from unions between males and females among Cybetronians. Though I do think Moonracer might be Ironhide and Chromia's daughter.
Tramp wrote:Well, according to G1 canon, female Cybertronians are extremely rare for some reason. We do see a few more unnamed femmes in the background of War Within, but not many. Even Kup says in Arcee's MtMtE write-up that Femmes are very, very rare, to the point of being almost unheard of. Something must have happened to most of them during the war for there to be so few.
