Probably Excluding (or at least HOPE to exclude) White CW Ultra Prime, the last 2 voyagers are probably Onslaught retooled and recolored from Hotspot, and some Decepticon from Silverbolt.

With the deluxe slots pretty much taken up for 2015, I doubt we'd see Onslaught this year without his accompanying Combaticon limbs. I think, if we do get Bruticus, it'll be in 2016. Really, the two other voyagers could be anything at this point. I'm hoping at least one will be a mold we haven't seen yet. We got quite a few voyager class figures with unique molds in 2014, though, maybe that's the reason why Hasbro wants more reuse for each mold in 2015.

I think if you shave down the pegs on the inside of the leg it should work. My problem with that is that the inside of the legs are just as well painted as the outside

Hey, my pal Chuckdawg, so glad you could drop by. As you can see above, we now have what will probably be the torso for Hotspot. So, knowing this, I would like to know if the rumours you had spread about what we should expect in a year were based on something you had heard/seen or if you were just playing with us. Because that Hotspot torso is a new mold and not the same mold as Optimus . Also, if those rumours were from a source you seriously believed, does this make you doubt the truth in the other rumours? (example, Devastator being released as a bunch of MPs) I am just curious as to the trustworthiness of your source in light of this, and by no means do I extend that to you (unless you were just messing with us all along).

The person I heard the info from is surprised and his source is surprised as well. Unless we're going to see the greatest re-tool ever I think it's safe to say Hot Spot is a new mold, which I'm hoping for too since that means there is a small sliver of hope for a Bruticus. I still trust my source as they were right about the new MP cars which I was told about months ago and a few other things.

Why not turn Groove into the more obscure Night Ranger?

I'm really bummed Rodimus didn't even get his arm guns molded on. I hope that weapon/fin thing can be stored on the back in robot mode.

I'm with you guys ... Skywarp is awesome and was expected since Hasbro's Mark Weber more or less tipped it off at last BotCon's Hasbro panel.

Rodimus, however, is blah. If he had the chest flames in robot mode, I'd say thumbs up. But without the chest flames and without the yellow "wings" (?) behind his head, it just isn't Rodimus. Vehicle mode, on the other hand, looks great, but not so much for the robot mode.

I was about to agree with you on the Rodimus but his weapon should be able to peg in his back giving him wings.

I do hope so. Oh well, I want to get him anyways, haha!

Well we did get Optimus in the first wave, and none of his limbs (if he does get them) - Onslaught *might* be released in the later waves of the year as a teaser, the same way Dragstrip was released in Wave 1 as a teaser for Menasor...

I've been giving some thought to Predaking. Obviously Hasbro won't produce molds they cannot reuse, but I realized not only can they retool the Predacons into a Maximal combiner, they also only need to make one voyager and three deluxe primary molds to pull it off.

First the Predacons:

Voyager - Razorclaw - Lion

Deluxe - Divebomb - Bird

Deluxe - Rampage - Tiger

Deluxe - Headstrong - Rhinoceros and Tantrum - Water Buffalo

Now the Maximals:

Voyager - Leo Prime - Lion

Deluxe - Airazor - Bird

Deluxe - Tigatron - Tiger and Cheetor - Cheetah

Deluxe - Rhinox - Rhinoceros

Maybe call the combined form Maximal Supreme?

Additional options:

Voyager - Lion - Leobreaker / Thundertron / Steeljaw

Deluxe - Bird / Bat - Sundor / Squaktawk / Wingthing / Ratbat

Deluxe - Panther / Tiger / Wolf - Ravage / Stripes / Snarl (Transformers Cybertron)

I'm sure there are even more characters to choose from. Also, I think it would be cool to have a combiner made up entirely of former cassette bots/cons. I only listed a few of them.

I expect nothing, and I don't know if anyone thought of this yet, so I figured I'd share and see if there would be any interest. The cool think is these are animals, not vehicles. I just wish I could figure out how to make the Technobots possible. Unfortunately I can only think to retool Nosecone into Energon Optimus Prime's drill limb. I suppose Afterburner could be retooled as Ransack. That's all I've got.

Bummer, I was hoping for a legends Brawn reveal. Or at least a Seaspray. And what about Kickback?? If they are going to do repaints, then why not do Pipes? They have already milked the mold three times now, why not go for a fourth?

I might pass on Rodimus too, because he should be a deluxe, not a legends. I have the three other seekers, but I might pass on them all together.

I'm not getting these "Rodimus should be a deluxe" comments. No one's been saying that about any of the other main bots and cons getting the Legends treatment, like Optimus/Nemesis, Megatron, the Seekers, etc.

At any rate, I think CW Rodimus looks just fine. Based on the way the hood is in robot mode, it appears we should be able to attach the axe to his back and emulate his classic silhouette. That's all I really need from this toy.

How do you know this? Is the plug hole done in a half moon so that sideways is the only option? Or are you just saying this based on the axe being sideways in combined mode? If its a circular peg in a circular hole, then you can just turn it the right way. Have you thought of that?

I think you are right! It appears that there are two slots on the car near the back and on the roof that tabs on the ax go into. The only config looks like it will be sideways, unless there is a slight tool modification...

Actually, I did. But, I think some people do not say that because the seekers, Optimus, and Megaton get so many treatments it is irrelevant, and that doing this to this character is unreasonable when a proper deluxe of IDW Rodimus is in order. Since it is so popular in the comics.

As much as I wanted an updated Hotrod to replace my aging Classics version, this was not what I had in mind. Both of these are an easy pass for me.

Rodimus looks terrible. Hasbro should stop repainting and start making new molds for toys. This Skywarp toy is a nobody. He's just a generic repaint. This is all boring news unfortunately.
