Amazon Japan cuts off cancelations on May 22nd which means on May 23rd we'll see just how many tiny fragile panels this figure uses.

Well, guess that's one more MP that I'll have to skip.

There's speculation that the exchange rate price will put Trailbreaker at £135. To which, upon hearing the potential pricing refers to MP Trailbreaker. My G1 collector friends reaction was:

I think this might be a similar case to Raiden. With a price drop not too long after the preorder goes global.

As much as we all moan that they just re-release the most popular characters ad nauseum. The reality is, those non-top tier characters aren't guaranteed to sell. From my friend's reactions, they don't think Trailbreaker is worth that figure, regardless.

I just cancelled the preorder of some anime sexy girl figure at Amazon.jp to preorder Trailbreaker instead.

I preordered this guy. Trailbreaker is my favorite G1 Transformer, and this toy nails him. Nails him good too. He looks so good! I am in love it how good it looks!

the only thing I want to nitpick is that he did not come with a shield piece in any capacity. He should have something so I can have him projecting a forcefield!

Otherwise, he is wonderful, I cannot WAIT to get him!!!

200$CAN is not too bad a price all things considered.
If the exchange rate for the Yen's value remains the same until my card is charged, it will remain cheaper at Amazon.jp for me. If not, the total price will be equivalent when adding taxes and shipping.

I will actually buy the + version too. This may be the one guy I actually would do that for

Our Japan correspondent Matt in Japan has a video review for Transformers MP-56 Masterpiece Trailbreaker. This item was released just before the end of the year in Japan and he got his from Amazon Japan for ¥18,800 yen. In the review, Matt shows the accessories, like the different faces, and shows how Trailbreaker looks at from different angles. The side view is quite impressive since he ends up not having much of a backpack, the alt mode parts compress very elegantly. We also see him compared to MP skids for size along with preview Trailbreaker toys. Enjoy!

Looks pretty damn good, but I noticed too late that there's no place for it in my collection, nor do I have the money to pay for it.

One more day of "please update your payment info" and I'll be free!

Mine shipped last week from Amazon Japan, DHL says it isn't arriving until next tuesday, but we'll see

Still waiting on AJP to ship mine. Hopefully it will be in its way soon...

I too, received my notification that my credit card kept bouncing so I needed to update my payment info. Repeatedly. If I don't, my uncancellable preorder will be cancelled.

Got my Trailbreaker in today, and I have been messing with him tonight.

God, he is wonderful.

The robot mode just makes me giggle with glee, he is slick and lovely. And he can throw some great shapes. He is pure joy! I love how awkward but still fully functional he is! He is fun!

Transformation isn't that bad, and his truck mode is pretty hefty, he has some density to him in truck mode. I will keep the shiny grill on him.

This is a dream come true. He is wonderful. I absolutely love him.

Damn he is so nice
