It was my B-Day yesterday. I'm officially MIDDLE-AGED! ( or ?)

So, I got an insane B-Day haul. From my TF loving friend, I got the Platinum Conehead set! And from me to me, some TF Q I bought on sale from Hobby Search.



But the real meat of the B-Day haul had nothing to do with Transformers:

A BIG mop:


A HEAVY DUTY Rubbermaid ensemble:


And the most expensive thing, a Dyson V6 Slim!


I never had this much value in gifts in one go ever!

Kan! While I do loves me some Coneheads, I'm more excited about your mop bucket. That is hardcore and I love it. I worked in restaurants when I was a young'n, and I know a good mop bucket when I see one.

I was really tired of tiny-ass bucket using a tiny-ass mop using a tiny-ass gimmick. I wanted something a REAL PRO would use. Not a gadjet.

I got a V6 Absolute about two months ago. YES it was a lot of money, but no regrets whatsoever! I have a town house, it's not large, so I just pull that bad boy off the wall once a week and give the (tile) floors a quick once over. The first time I used it I could FEEL the difference under my feet. The Dysons are bloody amazing machines!

Back to topic ... in addition to a slightly crushed box (the Australian postal system truly is going to ****) I got Kabaya Fortress Maximus and UW Bruticus.

I have a town house, it's not large, so I just pull that bad boy off the wall once a week and give the (tile) floors a quick once over. I know it can only run for 20 minutes. But I have a 4 rooms appartment and... 3 cats. So, this will NOT be a luxury. No cords, no hassle, I see some **** on the floor and BAM! It's gone! BTW, it was planned that I will pay part of it because it's usually 400$CAN+tx. But for my B-Day, it was 100$CAN OFF! So I didn't had to pay a dime! That was lucky.

Also back on topic, , I'll brag about my NOThaul.

Because I was waiting to see how the Takara TR PM Optimus would look, I skipped on the Hasbro version when I saw it in store, at TrU, at 40$CAN+tx. Saw the Takara one and I hated it. The Hasbro is gone from the stores obviously. TR PM Optimus is back at TrU.ca for 40$CAN. I wait to be paid and I order it online because it's not on the shelves. A few days later, I have a mail that say TrU can't fulfill my order and my gift-card get refunded.



Let's hope TR PM Optimus will be re-released again and again so that I can finally grab him at a reasonable price on day.

I think I got mine for $100 off, so I put that towards a few other heads. And because I spent X amount, I got 10% of that back as gift cards. Even if I didn't, still no regrets. They're great, pick up dirt you don't realise is there.

Will have to get it into the TF collection room some time to see how it goes cleaning the shelves.

I was hoping for a Leader TR PM Optimus. Instead, I found a Power Surge Starscream, and an Ammonite Zord at TrU. At Walmart I found a Lord Doomstron minicon. I was skipping the whole minicon thing when I noticed that it does have a 5mm peg to be handled as a weapon and the weapon mode have a big mean face on it. So I'll use that minicon as a HEADMASTER for a possible custom. As for Starscream, I find that toy very awesome. It look nice in both modes and have a creative yet simple transformation. However, just look at it funny and he just WONT shut up!

Honestly, he's a pretty sweet figure. He doesn't hold a candle to Fracture, but he is still very good. I love the robot mode, especially the shoulder pads and the wing cape. The head sculpt is banger too and the jet mode feels swish and fun to mess with. He's sitting on my desk being played with a bit as I try to work on my Geology homework, and he is a joy.

I'm still waiting for Kapow to reply to my question about pre-ordering the Takara version from their shop... I first had a guy named Andy reply to me about some questions about their assortment, he was fairly quick, and then another guy named Mat responded, but hasn't gotten back to me yet on the Computron question. I hate it when different people reply to queries, the next guy never knows about the previous questions and you need to explain things twice, and sometimes you get 2 different answers...

I really want to place my order soon, so I can get that Lynxmaster set and possibly Hotspot too.
Then I'll order Streetwise, First Aid and Blades from Amazon.co.uk, and later on a deluxe Groove from another online shop. But I want to know if I can combine shipping to save money.
Waiting sucks!

Beast Wars Megatron - missing robot head and the squirty thing but makes dino mode ok)
Animated Leader Megatron - i just sold the regular grey version and i don't like the toy much but hey this one at least has a cool 'evil' colour scheme
Superman TAS electronic figure - Not a Transformer but it's fun, the cape has flexible struts which make it flap about with the electronic flying sound and his eyes light up with heat vision sound too. Both him and Animated Megs were fighting in my backpack on the way home (well, bumping into each other's buttons setting off the sounds but I like to think it was a violent Toy Story in there)


Also I bought another KO figure this time of AoE Bumblebee and didn't expect this to be Voyager sized rather than Deluxe which perhaps is too big for Bee but I love it (the original Deluxe is one of my all time fave TF figures). It was only £8.79 with free postage and it looks really classy all shiny and stuff with the metal look and extra paint apps the Hasbro figure lacked. Unfortunately the transparent blue plastic joint where the roof connects to the windshield was broken in the box but I've semi-fixed it so it stays on in both modes but may come loose during transformation if not careful. He doesn't come with that customised DotM Bee Mechtech gun but it's to show it suits him more size-wise than on a Deluxe and that while the finger is scaled up from the Deluxe AoE Bee he still holds 5mm post weapons.

ANyway, Iwent on and ordered him online. Had some other stuff to get on the website, so free shipping was earned.

I've been stockpiling all the RiD toys to give to my boys when they are a little bit older. Right now, about all they get are one step changers, and they love them. THey do watch the new cartoon, and love it, hence why I"m getting the toys for them. as this new show will most likely be thier G1.

As for the figure itself, I find it amazing how much better a toy this little gal is than the warrior class figure. Plus, I love the minicons as weapons gimmick. I love targetmasters.

Sure enough, the shelf was cleaned out. **** scalpers. ANyway, Iwent on and ordered him online. Had some other stuff to get on the website, so free shipping was earned.

Oh boy. That Starscream is pretty common and there's TONS of him at every TrU. If that guy also bought them at full price, it's pretty stupid. If he's really a scalper, I just KNOW he will be pretty disapointed.

But this isnt a standard release, its a TRU exclusive, they will have to stock them (they cant just skip buying a wave as they do with other releases). So you will certainly see him again at retail or online.
