In another thread, someone point out his reprolabel sewt. I'm tempted.

And it's, so far, the literal king of the hauls... MP-11 Starscream! He came in the mail this afternoon, and I finally had the time to sit down and fiddle with him. Holy crap guys, I cannot think of where to begin with Starscream... the quality is just goddamn amazing, and the new design just trumps the old one. Having had the Wal*Mart exclusive Skywarp for several years and having to put up with his fiddliness, the quality, the joints, and the transformation just absolutely baffle me (in a good way). I am literally awestruck to the point where I can't even speak comprehensibly. And, since this is the Asia reissue, the collector's coin also comes with him. It's lighter than I thought it'd be, since I was expecting it to be similar to one of my Marine Corps challenge coins, but nonetheless, it's goddamn awesome.
What a way to begin getting stuff from Takara. Twenty out of ten!

This makes me sad. I was kinda wanting the Soundwave coin(will probably still get it eventually), but knowing this, it's less want. Even the coins I've gotten from game companies are the same size and weight as my Air Force coins.

thanks! and ive heard a lot about this, forgive my ignorance but what gold plastic syndrome? i have the 10th dinobot and BW grim (somewhere) and never had problems with them. unless theyve fallen apart in the box theyre currently in...JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Nice job on the Dinobot shrine! Should you want to hunt down Hasbro's 10th Anniversary Dinobot, be warned: he is a confirmed sufferer of Gold Plastic Syndrome, especially in the shoulder joints and the claws. Grimlock is one too.
i think youre referring to the movie protoform prime. for the first bay movie there were two "preview" figures released, prime and starscream "protoforms". and prime was repainted and re-released in takaras recent advanced movie line.william-james88 wrote:Congrats on Cohadra, that is one cool transformer. I have a question, what is the transformer with the chest that resembles Generations Optimus (WFC) ?

ahh k. hopefully when i dig out my old grim and 10th dinobot theyre still in decent shape.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Gold Plastic Syndrome is a catch-all term for gold plastic (actually any plastic with metallic flake) that's becoming really brittle, way sooner than it should. It's especially noticeable in some figures from late-G1 (Pretender Monsters, G2 Slingshot and Electro) to the end of Beast Wars (BW Grimlock, BWNeo Randy). Nowadays it's very sporadic, but still present.

Cyberverse Beast Hunters Bulkhead
He feels right at home with "Thunderclash" (Predacons Rising Optimus Prime) and Huffer. All he needs is a fitting name. Any suggestions aside from "Brawn"?
