You like AOE voyager Galvatron, don't you, will?

He's an interesting addition to my collection and I like the collapsing truck. But I dont see him as a proper transformer (because he isnt). I like how they made the onscreen character a toy, but it doesnt change the fact that I dont like how the onscreen character is all robot and no alt mode. I feel the toy is a better interpretation of what should have been onscreen.

As was said in another thread, it's true that kibbles and visible vehicle parts are what make Transformers a Transformers. In a sense, a TF with no kibbles of altmode parts is just ashamed of it's true nature.

buuuut... its forgivable with him because its screen accurate. accuracy is always a plus.

Sweet If you need a sword for that Electro, try Prime Dreadwing's: in the BotCon comic he took Megaplex' sword, which is the same mold.

Yeah, for those who missed out on the Classic OP mold this is a great and cheap way to have it. Even with the floppy roof flaw, which seem to be standard issue.

BTW, got that neat little Go-Bots today in a trade with Will. I love him but he have a bit of trouble standing up. Still, a neat little vintage toy. I just LOVE Go-Bots!

You guys cannot imagine what this means. Kanrabat will confirm but I believe this is the first time a Platinum edition toy has ever been able to be shipped in Quebec. TRU usually has al the platinum editions and since there is no English on the box, they wont ship it to you if you live in Quebec. But for some reason, Walmart carried Predaking and they were ok with shipping it. It was totally a fluke, I only found Predaking because he was rolled back to 100$ canadien and then I took a chance. It took a while for Walmart to ship this item (I received the rest of my order before) and I feared they would realize they couldn't ship this afterall. But they did and here it is. Now, Kanrabat,Cobotron, I am torn: Stickers or no stickers?

Also, beware because some reviews said that many joints on many figures are extremely tight and need some wiggeling (not forcing) to get looser and to move normally.

I just completed the stickers, he looks glorious! And he is much tighter and better than I would have hoped. Dive Bomb's joint to the main body as a limb is looser than the others but each individual toy is very solid. Well worth the 100$ canadian +tax. Still can't believe I have this. And yes, Cobotron, you were missed.

Mine are loose, and he defaults to a, I just got kicked in the fiddly bits, stance.

I havent combined him yet. Still simply marveling at the beast modes. Those are his default modes for sure (like the dino modes for the dinobots) since they all look great. I am so impressed that they all use different limbs for their alt modes than the ones used for robot mode. Even Beast Wars couldn't do that with mammals. The robot modes are not all great though. Rasorclaw, Divebomb and ampage are nice (Rampage is especially amazing in bot mode) but Headstrong and Tantrum look kind of dorky and very unimposing when they turn to robots. I feel like displaying them all in beast modes except for Rampage and make him the leader of my Predacons.

New Haul from TRU online, the only way to get these two voyagers so far in Canada.




I knew what I was getting into with Drift. An awesome mold with a fun new deco. But Slog is an abomination. I would have always bought it since I love the idea of a modern Sauropod transformer mold, but man, what a disappointment. What a great idea but terrible execution. He is in dire need of some tabs in both modes to hold his body together. Also, the plastic flap that is stuck in a terrible position is inexcusable and ruins the otherwise awesome dino mode (the neck bolts dont help either). Dinobot Grimlock is there to show his disapproval.

Now that I have completed my movie dinobots, I have ranked them all here.

Got a boxed Energon Scorponock! Sure, 50$ shipped is expensive, but it's a figure that I wanted for a long time. Yeah, I'll trash the box. His vehicle"beast mode is astounding, and his robot mode is intimidating despite is lack of posability. Truly, a great TF to own.

I also got my Slog from TrU. Note that TrU dont give a fawk about the state of your toy's collectability and sent tthe thing in a bigger box without any padding. Still came fing though. I'm not dissapointed toward it like Will is, but that dino could have used something to lock his mid-section into place. Nevertheless, bot modes are nice looking and the transformation is fun and aesy to figure out. Me too, my fruity dinobots are complete!

Turns out I had not tucked in that front flap well enough on Slog. He looks phenomenal now and definitely gets bumped up several notches (above Strafe, below voyager Grimlock).

My Generations Waspinator, Armada Starscream, and Springer all broke, so I sent them back to Hasbro. Today I got a replacement Waspinator, a replacement Springer, and... An extra Skids I have no use for.

No! I'm usually very careful! And I broke those three over the course of the year and it just took me a while to try to get them replaced. Waspinator and Springer just broke when I dropped them funny (one of Waspy's bug legs snapped in half, and one of Spinger's tailfins snapped the clip that held it in place) and Starscream I broke the slot in one of his swords while trying to get it out of his hand (my Starscream had an absurdly tight grip). I actually usually don't break anything, but I've broken more toys this year than I ever have, and I'm actually kind of worried about it.
