Now, I know Devastator was killed in the movie, but we saw that there were many Constructicons, and we assume that if just one of Devastator's limbs had been destroyed, it could have been replaced by another Constructicon, so I'm making this Devastator out of remaining Constructicons.

VII

Strongarm looked up in terror as Devastator lifted his huge limb to smash the Autobots. Unable to move due to injuries, Strongarm could only allow Wideload and Crosshairs to drag him away from the massive fist.

"Run!" a voice suddenly said.

Stratosphere, who was considerably larger than most Autobots and about ten feet smaller than Devastator, grabbed the Constructicon combiner's fist and threw it back. Stratosphere punched Devastator in the lower jaw, causing the Decepticon to fall on his back. Due to his weight, Devastator was unable to roll over. However, he separated into his individual forms, flipped over, and recombined.

"Go! Go now!" cried Stratosphere.

He blasted Devastator with a barrage of missiles. Suddenly, Superion flew in. The individual members of Bruticus Maximus could be seen retreating down the hallway. Together with Stratosphere, Superion battled Devastator. The two tall Autobots quickly backed the big Decepticon into a corner before blasting him with their greatest weapon. Against one or the other, Devastator would have prevailed. But facing both at once was too much to handle, and Devastator's parts instantly separated.

"Where's Megatron?" Optimus asked.

The Decepticon leader jumped down from above, firing his deadly fusion cannon. Optimus jumped in front of the barrage and saved Wideload, Strongarm, and Crosshairs from the deadly blows. As Megatron landed, he somersaulted across the floor and slashed at Rollbar's legs.

"Yeargh!" Rollbar cried.

Megatron advanced on Optimus, slashing through the now-separated Aerialbots as he went. As he closed in on Optimus, Brawn dragged the injured Aerialbots to safety. Optimus grabbed Megatron and spun him around in circles before tossing him into the wall.

"Autobots, get Strongarm out of here! I'll hold off Megatron!"

As Optimus and Megatron battled, the throne room started to flame up. Hundreds of Decepticons ran in to put the fires out. If the ship exploded, then so would the enormous army of two million Decepticons that it housed. They had to stop the fire, fast!

Alright, things are starting to close up, and Strongarm seems to finally be safe. But as the Autobots start to escape, things aren't as they seem...

IIX

Strongarm limped to the escape pods and looked behind his shoulder. It was a bad habit he'd picked up after being roasted, beaten, shot at, and attacked. Hey...people did that. Just as he was about to get into one of the pods, a sniper shot pierced his leg, and he fell, unable to move. Wideload grabbed him and pulled him to cover while Brawn opened fire with his plasma blasters.

"I'll...be fine," Strongarm said. "Faced....worse these...past few days..."

Wideload nodded and shoved Strongarm inside the escape pod. Behind them, Ironhide opened the hangar bay doors. The sniper shots continued to rain down, and Brawn continued to return fire. Stratosphere transformed into vehicle mode and a claw extended from his hangar, placing the five injured Aerialbots safely inside.

"Go on!" Ironhide said, hopping into his own escape pod. "Get the injured back to base!"

Crosshairs saluted and crawled into the escape pod beside Strongarm, who was unable to fly the pod in his condition. As the pods ejected, Stratosphere followed at a distance. He hoped that Optimus would be close behind them...

Optimus kicked Megatron into the fire and activated his jets. Going full speed, he rocketed toward the hangar bay. Along the way, he had to take several detours due to Decepticon fire.

"Stop that Autobot!" cried Dirge.

The diminuitive Dead End hopped on Optimus' back and dug his claws deep into the jetpack. Optimus groaned in pain, whirled around, and flew straight up so that Dead End's back was scraping against the wall.

"OW!" Dead End cried. "Stop! AH!"

Dead End released Optimus and fell back to the ground. Optimus continued to blast upward toward the hangar. Dirge, Thrust, and Skywarp followed him, firing multiple missiles. Optimus dodged them all and...stopped.

"You lose, Prime!"

There stood Starscream, weapons raised. Behind the Decepticon Air Warrior, the hangar bay was closed. Determined not to lose, Optimus whirled around, aimed his guns at the three oncoming Air Warriors, and fired.

Stratosphere groaned as Thundercracker and Ramjet, who had followed the Autobots, released a barrage of deadly fire. It took everything the big Autobot had to keep from whirling around and terminating the insolent pests. He wanted to more than anything, but the Aerialbots were counting on him. Instead, he activated an automatic defense turret, which popped out of the top of his plane mode and opened fire. The Decepticons dodged the fire. At that point, Ransack, Mindwipe, and Skystalker had joined the chase.

"Got to get home," Stratosphere muttered.

But could he save the Aerialbots' lives, or would the five Autobots perish inside him?

Alright, this is it. Expect my next fanfic to appear Monday or Tuesday next week (hopefully someone cares). But as for this one, here we go.

IX

Optimus Prime dropped Thrust and Dirge with his first shots. Skywarp kept coming, though, and he was firing missiles. Dodging aside, Optimus drew his sword and slashed Skywarp's tailfins off. The Seeker crashed. The Autobot leader whirled around, firing on Starscream. The Seeker commander ducked and returned fire. Optimus blocked the bullets with his sword.

"You won't be leaving alive, Prime!" Starscream growled.

He transformed his right arm into a battle sword and stabbed forward. Now, the two opponents dueled with swords, just as ancient earth knights would. Optimus Prime had a slight advantage due to the fact that his sword was longer, but Starscream was as determined as ever to win. The two blades clashed, and Optimus finally brought his sword around and stabbed it into Starscream's knee.

"Yah!" Starscream cried.

Taking advantage of his opponent's injury, Optimus ran to the computer console and began opening the bay doors. Suddenly, a deadly blade polished to perfection stabbed through his side. Whirling around, Optimus found Decepticon Dirt Boss standing there, oil leaking off his sword.

"You lose, Prime!" Dirt Boss said.

Optimus laughed. "I don't think so."

He stabbed forward, impaling Dirt Boss' arm. The Decepticon fell. Activating his boosters, Optimus flew out the door, followed by missile fire from Tankor and Sparkcrusher. He turned his jets on full power and flew ahead. He saw Thundercracker and Ramjet firing on Stratosphere, who was unable to turn and fight. Optimus fired two missiles ahead. Thundercracker dodged the missile and returned to base, but Ramjet's armor absorbed the blow, and he crashed into a moon.

"Go, Stratosphere!" Optimus ordered.

Strongarm looked up at Ratchet, who was examining his armor. As he waited, the small but tough Autobot flipped his newly-repaired battle mask up and down. Ratchet stopped what he was doing and stepped back.

"You're in perfect condition," he said.

"Thank goodness," Strongarm replied.

He hopped down, thanked the doc, and walked away. He felt much better, and his traumatic experiences were starting to fade from memory. With any luck, he'd be back to normal within a week.

"It's good to be back home," he muttered.

For the first time in weeks, things were going right.

Or were they?

"The tracer we placed on Strongarm is working perfectly, my leige," said Fearswoop.

"Excellent," Megatron replied.

He looked at a holographic map. He knew where the Autobot base was, and the hatchlings had been saved. It was time to go on the offensive, and destroy the Autobot base.

Quite a cliff hanger for an ending! I liked the battle scene with Optimus but then I would... I love him and Starscream
