Dagon wrote:I have this same problem and checking the pegs on Zarak never even occured to me. I'm gonna try it when I get home, but will check back to see if you all fix the problem in the meantime. This has been bugging me as well, because Scorp is my favorite G1 figure and I'd hate to have to try and replace him.

Do you still have the body? If so, I bought a second head off eBay last week so maybe between my two heads and our two bodies we can make complete Scorponoks. I'll let you know when my 2nd Zarak arrives.
Ok, that will sound weird taken out of context.
I loved that head, the purple and cream color...

Will that work on hinges too(Such as Cybertron Ransack's chest plate)?Bluebullet wrote:NightBreaker wrote:Is there any way to fix ball joints that have become loose?
Take the socket off of the ball and put silicone or super glue on the ball. After it dries, reattach the socket and it will be as good as new.

Oh no!! The body's rejecting the head!

I did technically finish my Fort Max today, though I'm waiting on the Masterswords from Singapore and I'm still looking for a sword for Cerebros. Those are just bonus pieces since the swords didn't come with the Hasbro release of Fort Max.
I just need to figure out how to fix the Zarak head-popping-out problem and I'll be all set to do a gallery of these guys finally.

Ok, let's keep this topic on track my friends. I guess I'd like to know who has a Scorponok that doesn't have this problem? I just want to know if it's Zarak that doesn't work right or if it's the Scorponok body.
Dagon wrote:Now, I just shoved Zarak back into Scorpanok and at least for the moment, he's sitting there just fine. Weird.

Its like kicking a TV, you don't know how it works, you just accept that it works.

So true......the only thing that matters is that for the moment at least the problem is rectified. So, maybe that's the fix that was needed all along? A minute or two with a different head?

Take him apart and tighten the tabs for the locking mechanism.

Any suggestions for loosening up 20 year old screws that don't want to move? I was able to get the back cover off, but I couldn't get 3 of the 4 screws undone that hold that front torso together with the back.
