Designer Shogo Hasui has tweeted that Takara will be releasing more information about their upcoming Masterpiece figures MP-12 Lambor/Sideswipe and MP-13 Soundwave at this year's Tokyo Toy Show. The tweet also includes the new teaser image of MP-12 Lambor/Sideswipe mirrored below. Even bigger news, they will also be revealing the identity of MP-14!

The International Tokyo Toy Show takes place June 14th through June 17th, 2012.

The thumbnail for this post is very misleading. I thought it was supposed to be a pic of MP-14 and nearly exploded in rage that it wasn't Soundwave. Then I read the post and realized it's actually Lambor. A lot of people aren't going to see that though.

I realized that after I posted it, and have already updated the headline. BTW, Soundwave in MP-13. We won't know the identity of MP-14 until the show.

I understand 4... Which is pronounced "si", meaning "death" in Chinese. As for 9... I've never heard of it as a bad number.

I would assume if it were SoundBlaster it would be titled MP-13B......hmmmm let's see so we went two Autobots MP-09 Rodimus....MP-10 Optimus...... two Decepticons MP-11 Starscream MP-11S Sunstorm........two Autobots MP-12 Sideswipe MP12A-Red Alert.....MP-13 Soundwave.......so this next one says that it would be a Decepticon :BOWDOWN:

That's quite a generalization.

Asia is the biggest continent (if you go by geology, Europe is merely a large peninsula of it) with a great many cultures. What's lucky or unlucky in one culture may not be in another. For example, in Vietnam, the number 9 is considered lucky.

I would love to see both. I want megatron mainly for it's pistol mode, and Takara has hinted alot at a MP-10 + Magnus Armour. So I'll love to get a proper Magnus for once too.

Yes I've been hearing about the Magnus armor from a good source and it it happens I think a tear might come to my eye lol. And I want a Meg's v2 so he will be in scale with the rest of the mp. I have mp-05 and he just towers over every one and the arm cannon is to big for his body so he is in need of a remake
