Prowl has always had a special place in my heart. I was very disappointed by his classic figure but THIS... this is the toy I have been waiting for Prowl... cant wait to see close ups

So looking at the listings, we have Masterpiece Tigertrack coming in June, Prowl in July, and Bluestreak in September...does that mean Smokescreen is for August, or is he delayed? His listing used to give a release date of August, now all it says is "4th quarter 2013".

Great! Though where is shoulder cannon for Prowl?

Hmmm...now that I have studied some facts, seems that cartoon&comic version seldom had cannon, but the toy version had. Same goes his Generations version. Anyways, those look really worth buying.

MP-10 was to be my only super-pricey Transformer. But I'm tempted. Prowl or Bluestreak? Bluestreak or Prowl? Both...?

Question: is it right to assume that these guys will have translucent eyes like the Takara MP-10, and painted baby-blue for the possible Habsro release?

Simply amazing. It's been awhile since we've seen TFs so universally acclaimed. I'm really looking forward to these, even moreso that Sideswipe. The Fairlady always was one of my favorite cars, and Prowl is probably one of my top-10 Autobots.

Okay, so after a day to digest these images a few minor gripes...

I don't like how the bicep has a huge cut out socket in it, and the fact that it is black on both bots makes it worse. That black piece that hinges below the deltoid and extends into the bicep should be white plastic to match the bicep color, not black. MP Sideswipe has the same thing going on. It takes a way from the G1 look of it.

The upper-arm delts are a little elongated over all...they should be more square. I think they did that because the wheels look huge on their arms...

Second, Bluestreaks cannon were never that thick. It looks cool how big they are, but not exactly G1 accurate.

Lastly, I curious to see better res. pics because Blustreak's head sculpt looks pretty good, but something about Prowls head sculpt seems off still to me....

Nothing major though...still buying both.

Foolish to gripe about these at all. 10/10 I am in awe about how accurate these guys are. Love how they did the lower legs. Right out of my memories!

I was going to skip these two and only get Smokescreen, but after seeing official pics I couldn't resist and went ahead and preordered them on BBTS.

I think I'm going to collect every single non-exclusive MP that Takara comes out with from now on assuming they keep doing things the way that they are. These are absolutely perfect renditions of the G1 cast.

Now I just need to clear a shelf or 2 so I can keep them all together

Damn you Takara! I was going to skip these. Now I have to shell out $80 for Prowl, $80 for Bluestreak, $80 for Smokescreen and $2,000 for a divorce lawyer.

Come on Hasbro...bring these to the U.S. shelves for a reasonable price! My $70 MP Grimlock looks like a steal these days.

All griping aside, these look awesome. We're going to see eBay flooded with Generations/Classics Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen listings between now and the summer!

The romanization of "Patrol" would be "Patorol," because Japanese is all symbols.

LOOOL. I really hope they fix that on the final release though.

They both look so good. The one thing I wish they could've done better with the new MP scale is have the weapons integrate better in vehicle mode. While it would be pretty easy to make Prowl's gun fold, I can understand why they couldn't do much with Sideswipe's shoulder launcher. It's just too big.
