Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Transforming was useles, like you said there's never a place with enough space or level ground to make it beneficial. Optimus is the only character that's any good. You'll need the extra minicon points far more that you'll need Hot Shot's speed or Red Alert's... averageness. I think the RotF game is the best transformers game to date.
Blurrz wrote:Well what do you expect.... you're going back in time in terms of video game development and console. If you don't like Armada, I doubt you'd like the video game.
Counterpunch wrote:Hot Shot + Health Regen + Sniper Rifle is how you beat Tidal Wave.
Run Run Run, Heal Heal Heal, Snipe Snipe Snipe.
Easy.
Hot Shot is also the way to take down Cyclonus. Red Alert was better than Prime early on in the game.
By the end, you need Prime, but that's kind of the point isn't it?

I don't play on easy.

It wasn't just basically walking through the movies or playing minor events immediately prior to or after movie events. It was certainly not a perfect game and parts of it were frustrating, but to me it was just more enjoyable. Both games suffer from overabundance of drones instead of actual characters though, and that's a big let down in both sets of games for me. I realize it's kind of the way these games would have to be done, but I think the drone biusness is lame.

They really don't have an option. It's either a bunch of identical nameless drones, or have to make an infinite number of characters.
I, for one, still don't know why they don't just bring back the Vehicons. It's a perfectly viable drone race controlled by a single sentient TF. They have "video game enemies" written all over them!

Shadowman wrote:I haven't played the RotF game, but the first was was okay. Not great, it really could have used some polishing, but it really had the makings of a good game. It helped that it was really similar to Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, but unnecessary time limits and restrictions on how far you could move during a mission really, really hurt. Being able to select characters would have been nice as well.
I've heard the RotF game is supposed to be much better.

Yes, the ROTF game is WAY better. The multiplayer is what sets it so much further apart.
