Hey Jetfire808 here. I am going to buy some TF soon. Here is my list of transformers i want. could you guys tell me which ones are worth the buy?

Leader Jetfire
Leader Prime
Long Haul
Demolisher
Wheelie
Grindor
Human Alliance Sideswipe
Human Alliance Bumblebee
Sideways
Whirl/Bludgeon
Starscream
Rampage

As you can see, there are quite a few. If you want, just have a mini review or summary of one of the figures. thanks for the help!!

Well, I only got Voyager Prime and Leader Prime, so on your list, i can only recommend Leader Prime. He should be #1 on your list. Get him and Jetfire if you can find them together. That's a mistake I made, and now I can't find Jetfire anywhere. But those 2 should be your first buys.

Agreed. If you can only afford one, make sure to get Leader Prime. He is such a great figure you can't pass him up. I also think you need to get deluxe Sideswipe. Awesome figure, just awesome. Honestly, I just got HA Sideswipe, and he is my favorite figure of all time if we are basing it on looks alone. My god that thing is amazing looking. The backpack is a little irritating to me, but damn it looks awesome in both modes. The Corvette StingRay Concept is one of the best all-time alt modes IMO, and the representation of it in this toy is perfect.

I have deluxe sideswipe. ive seen reviews of HA sideswipe he looked pretty cool. thanx

Leader Jetfire - great alt mode can combine with Leader Prime!
Leader Prime - great figure, better than the first movie's leader Prime
Long Haul - great alt mode, sturdy figure
Human Alliance Sideswipe - great figure, if you have Deluxe Sideswipe, get this anyways.
Human Alliance Bumblebee - best adaptation of Bumblebee

leader jet fire, leader prime, and ha bb are my top three from the ones you mentioned.... get those and youll be set

Leader Optimus Prime is at the top of the list for sure. It's the one to get if you can only get one.

The toy's design is great in terms of likeness in robot mode to the movie design. The alt mode is also a step up in likeness with added details like the headache rack on the back. The transformation process is involved and a little complex but I find it a satisfying transformation.

The negative aspects in my opinion are the energy blade gimmick, lack of a gun accessory, and lack of variety in voice recordings.

The energy blade gimmick is the most serious negative because when locked in place, the blades limit elbow movement. You can't fully extend the arms because the blades get in the way of the vehicle kibble on the arms.

The lack of a gun is strange because I can't imagine it to be that much of a budget increase to include a gun like they did for the 2007 Leader OP.

The sound recordings is also an odd issue because the toy has just 1 voice recording, "I am Optimus Prime.". The only other recordings are a transformation sound and a weird noise(is it supposed to be the rumbling of the truck mode?).

thank you. i am probably going to get jetfire and prime. i am choosing between demolisher, grindor, and long haul. half of the people i see say demolisher is bad, but half of them say hes good and most of the stuff people say about grindor and long haul is how they chose long haul over grindor. which voyager is best?

every TF collector should have a Long Haul imo, he's the best Voyager from ROTF that I've purchased.

from the deluxes you just mentioned, id go with sideswipe.... but with rotf deluxes in general, the ice cream truck twins are a win

I do like Breakaway. He is kind of goofy and cool at the same time. I wish I would have waited for the Thrust repaint though. I don't think the mold warrants a second purchase.

I would advise against HA sideswipe. Unless you're only in it for the alt mode, he's not worth $30. Back kibble, small hands and limited poseability make him worth $15 max

personally i think hes worth it. people says hes too expensive, but hes just as big as an ultra class figure, which are $30

Personally, I recommend Demolisher. Yeah, he looks different and freakish, but once you transform him and look at him, you'll understand. He's just really nifty, a lot of fun. Long Haul is currently on my Want List as well.

I was going to get demolisher (they had about 12 at Walmart) but got mixmaster instead
