Which G1 toy should be reissued next
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
This year is looking pretty cool with hasbro giving us rereleases of Perceptor, Blaster, The Coneheads, Astrotrain, Blitzwing and the Insecticons (again) and maybe just maybe Trypticon.
That got me thinking, which ones did I want next. Without a doubt, for me, it would be the masterforce/headmaster/victory toys we never got, most especially Overlord (who had a big role in IDW recently) and Liokaiser. Liokaiser would be really cool in light of the current combiners theme.
How about you guys, which reissue would you want most?

Anything that hasn't been rereleased a million times already? Actually my wishlist lies more with Takara as it involves Japanese G1 releases.

It's been like 10 years? But Takara stopped releasing their targetmasters TFC subline. Only did Hotrodimus,Stepper and Cha. Wished they'd finished the rest like Blurr, Artfire and the mineline targetmasters.

Do we know which molds are lost? Is Liokaiser lost?
Also, until AOE, the wiki stated that the first terrosaur mold was lost but it turned out not to be true.
Oh, and I would love a reissue of snapdragon and apeface

They're more likely to do it. Takara has always reissued more stuff and is more daring when it comes down to it. Hasbro does do it's fair share. With HUGE FRIKKING MISSILES for your pleasure.

I am sure they could but would they? Look at how many responses there are of people saying they are passing on MP Star Saber because they have no attachment to the character. There is a wide segment of Transformers fans outside Japan that have no idea who Overlord, Star Saber, Victory Leo, Grandus, Lio Kaiser, Dai Atlus, Sonic Bomber, Road Fire or Galaxy Shuttle is. That last sentence by the way makes up my wish list with the exception of Star Saber or Victory Leo because I already have them but it would be nice for others to have.

I hear you, and awesome list! But then again, Hasbro did release generations Crosscut, which is all about a Japanese toy we didn't get. Just saying that they are conscious of the gap bewteen Hasbro and Takara releases throughout the history of the Brand and it's origins.

Hound is a no-brainer. Never been reissued in the states and not in Japan for a long time. He is a classic character with a timeless alt mode, too.
Given all the current combiner love, I gotta think we'll be seeing more of these soon as well.

Hey guys and gals! The new podcast episode has an interview with the head of TF Marketing at Hasbro. In there, Scotty P actually talks quite a bit about reissues. From what I can make of it, Hasbro doesnt plan on doing much and would only do those that they know they can sell. And their assessment on demand for these is actually by scouting through boards since we are the audience for it. So let your voices be heard here and now.
I still say my biggest needs are a G1 reissue of Raiden, Overlord and Liokaiser. I would also like both Apeface and Snapdragon. I really love the headmasters concept.
And you guys will maybe hate me, but I would love to own some of the action master elites. Those were the ones that actually transformed and yet could be played with other smaller figures like the Gi Joes. Only europe got those.

Don't care, As I prefer updates new toys from HasTak or 3rd parties.
Thinking if HasTak does reissues. It should be the most expensive ones on Ebay.

I'd rather Hasbro gave us recolours of G1 toys similar to E-Hobby, starting with some 'obvious' ones -

I'll take a Metalhawk in a classic Masterforce box. He's the last of my Takara Masterforce pretenders to get and I don't see myself shelling out $400 for the original anytime soon.
Also Grand Max would be a no brainer. Everything is available to do it, except maybe the pretender shell.
Both of these would require Takara, though. I don't see Hasbro doing these.
