Well, if we're going by toys, Puzzler > Menasor.

Really? I was just looking at some photos of Puzzler. I think it look like he has a erection. Just curious why you think he's better than Menasur.

Well, if we're comparing just the design then Menasor obviously is better. But if we're judging by the actual toy itself, the individual bots of Puzzler have a little more articulation as well as diecast parts. That's all I was getting at.

Of course, the Stunticons did have a black and purple truck and sported better colors so...

I'll give Puzzler a point for having more articulation. And, I'll give him another point for having cooler looking feet.

But, I subtract 100 points for being a Go Bot.

I'm going with Computron. He'd have the brains to stay out of the way whilst the meatheads tore each other apart, then finish off whatever was still standing.

Depends, the Marvel comics versions of Superion, Defensor, Menasor, Bruticus and Predaking aren't exactly stupid. The only idiots among their number are probably Devastator and Abominus.

Though Superion tends to go psycho.....

Re: Who would fare the best in a G1 Combiners Brawl?

Postby Galaxion » Sun Dec 09, 2007 10:45 am

[quote="Satomiblood"]Pretty cut and dry. Let's say all the G1 Combiners (5 or more robots) were in a free-for-all, who would win and why? If I'm missing anyone, please contribute.
Shouldn't this topic be in fantasy battles?
Devastator
Bruticus
Menasor
Abominus
Dinoking
Piranacon
Predaking
Liokaiser
Superion
Defensor
Computron
Raiden
Monstructor

Well this could be a tough call, Menasor although my favorite gestalt sadly enough wouldn't win this. And I dont know too much about Dinoking except he appears to be a carbon copy of Monstructor, and I dont know much about LeoKaiser or Raiden, Hmm in the comics Menasor Defeated Superion even if he did have a unintentional helping hand from Circuit Breaker, he also Defeated Defensor. Superion has defeated Devastator in in the comics as well as been defeated by Devastator even if it was with the seekers help. Bruticus managed to defeat Defensor and lost to Predaking. But to my knowledge the only combiner able to defeat Omega Supreme in one on one Combat has been Monstructor and he tore through Omega fairly easily so in the End I would have to give this battle to Monstructor since Omega Supreme is suppose to be more powerful than the combiners yet Monstructor still tore through Omega like he was still deactivated..

I'd say it's pretty obvious that predaking would win. He bigger, one the smarter ones, acts with animalistic instinct, andhas no personality defects. Though monstructer would be a close second, but Predaking is well, Predaking. I think though that Bruticus or Computron would loose. It's a brawl so Computron would definately be overloaded by choices and just get hit by someone he not focusing on while deciding, and Bruticus would probably not do anything till someone hit him. So he would probably never recover if he just got smacked by a gestalt. Though if we go by the cartoon Devastator or Superion would win. They never really got surpassed there.

Well, if Monstructor just joined in on the fun, it'd be a battle for first place between him and Lio Kaiser.

I'm going with either Monstructor or Predaking. Lio Kaiser I don't know much about, so I can't judge. So yeah, Monstructor or Predaking. Of Titanius.

Well, if you think about it, any of the combiners post-Devastator probably would've been able to beat Omega Supreme so I can't give Monstructor such an upper hand in theory. Of course, there's not much I know about him other than his acid touch.

And if he really was that dangerous, all of the other combiners could just gang up on him until he was destroyed.

Computron would probably get taken down first and I don't see anyone more appropriate than Predaking since it's calculation vs. rapid instinct.

Defensor

Very high stats, well rounded, has shielding abilities, is ammune to artilery fire, and most importantly he fights for a cause, which is something that no other combiner has.

Defensor is just overly emotional, which makes him the opposite of Superion (who supresses his emotions).

I'd go with Predaking. Then Bruticus, Then Menasor, then Computron. Devastator eventually.
I think Abominus never got a fair chance. He came very late in the game and never had a chance to shine. I think Abominus and the Terracons had more stories to tell.
