I wouldn't think so. He's a large car, slightly larger than a human Alliance car. He'll also tower over most deluxes in robot mode.

Re: Will Alternator Shockblast fit well with classics?
Yeah, The Alt version will look pretty out of scale with Classics. It's still a great toy though, one of my favourites (alongside the likes of the G2 Hero Megatron mould, Classics Seekers and Classics Mirage and his many repaints) and worthy of a place in any collection although I've got the Binaltech version myself.
I've got Energon Shockblast in with my larger scale Classics. It's a real shame that the Titanium prototype for Shockwave never made it into production, that would have looked great with the Seekers. Hasbro, we could really use a deluxe Shockwave. Pretty please.

Got that. Thanks.
Agree. I was even saying WFC Shockwave is good enough, if is one. I don't think DOTM Voyager one is a good substitute, either. Well, I will wait and see.

I use Shockblast as well, I think he's a pretty good fit.

I think he would be a horrible fit because he towers even Deluxe Optimus Prime and besides he's a car. Shockwave was never a car and it would look totally out of place.

True, but G1 Shockwave used to tower over pretty much everything from the original toy run.
However I personally wouldn't use Alternator Shockblast in a TF Classic collection, he's just so difficult to transplant successfully into that continuity (although he is awesome).

I should have specified I meant Energon Shockblast. My mistake

Re: Will Alternator Shockblast fit well with classics?
In my display I have MP Mega and Prime towering over their troops with MP starscream in there as well. Sorta "movie poster" style. I had alt Shocky in there too at one point and he looked fine since the scale was all outta whack anyway.
Another anti-scale point is if you're using the Legends class figures in your display. Most of them should be much larger to really be right. Ditto RTS G2 Prime. IMHO, it all depends on if you can look at it and like it, not what anyone else really thinks.

I don't see it fitting in with the Classics line very well. When it comes to my Alternator, I just display them with other Alternators, and sometimes around MP figures. Honestly, Alternators are kind of a weird breed to display with other lines. I love them and collect them, but displaying them sometimes perplexes me.

I think he'd be a better fit than the Alternators version...

No, Alt Shockwave (Shockblast, whatever) is not a good fit for classics.
Mine fits into Masterpiece territory with the rest of my Alts, although I do hope a true Masterpiece Shockwave is made at some point.

To everybody saying not to use him because he towers over the deluxes, like the Autobot Cars, Shockwave should be taller than them. As that pic shows he lines up nicely with the Voyagers, and thus fits the scale bump. He's not too tall for Classics, the Seekers are too short.

I think Energon Shockblast fits in better with the Classics line, but that is just my opinion. In terms of scale, he fits fine.

I use alt Shocky just like It Is Him does, right beside my Voyager henkei Megatron. He's just a bit shorter than Megs and looks good to me, it's a great mold. Not perfect, but he's more "shockwave" to me than the Energon one.

Thanks for the pictures. I think that helps a lot. Now they both look good but I kind of prefer Alternator's color and size. I, too, display my classics in robot mode so the size of Alternator's much bigger alt mode isn't really an issue. Hmmmm, that makes me thinking again.

Speaking about displaying Alternators, I currently only have one kitty Jaguar Ravage who fits no where but I put him in alt mode along with ROTF HA cars. But I love that car and this combination.
